    A painful story of love gained and lost, Alexander and Benjamen were two soldiers who found each other. One, Benjamin, went to Afghanistan and was disturbed by the cruelty of war close up. His roommate , Alexander, stayed in the US and found he grew apart from Benjamin as their time apart grew Benjamin returned home and it was clear they were no longer compatible. Alexander was not able to help Benjamin work through his issues from combat. He needed his support. Ben found a note in the kitchen from Alexander saying he found love was not enough and left Ben without saying his opinion to his face. They lost touch with each other. Benjamin is now a civilian mechanic and a lonely soul. He has not found another male partner and seems to have returned to being closeted.

    Well Done! Thank you for composing and interesting, thoughtful story. The ending 5 year break let us see Cal and Nos had wonderfully adjusted to each other. Cal is the liege-to-be. He and Nos are enjoying married life and know how to enjoy great sex. Nos asked and Cal agreed to adopt their first child. We are learning they are very happy and committed to married life and beginning a family. What an encouraging conclusion to your story.
