Perfect---Mark recovered from the disaster at the party and left it to find Sandro. Mark knew where he might go to take a break and found him. He told Sandro he was sorry and he was gay. Sandro was shocked and then they both realized how foolish they had been over 6 months, An alcohol covered Sandro could not go home so he went with Mark and stayed with his in his bed like they used to do. They hugged and were very happy. This is turning out very encouraging for them. So far, they have been chaste. Will they become more romantic later?

Chapter 23: The Weighing of Souls
akascrubber commented on Topher Lydon's story chapter in Chapter 23: The Weighing of Souls
Tuesday is the deadline. Alistair Merrick explained his plan to Charles Levesque. He was told the plan better succeed or his blood will flow. Right now, we expect Merrick's plan will fail and his life will be at risk. Merrick will be desperate to cast blame elsewhere and lash out. He will also need a backup plan. His no longer hidden overseas assets are undergoing a federal audit. Kellerman called Merrick and told him his firm will not represent child abusers. Merrick told Kellerman he was making a mistake. Will Kellerman be killed as a scapegoat when Merrick's plan fails? -

I like Dewey, Cheattem and Howe for Merrick's new law firm. -
Oh--this could get very messy if you are not nice in handling these two boys who need help. Can Erik handle this situation for now or does he need to consult a trusted lawyer?

You are staying true to form. Your audience , including me, will be pleased in the end and frustrated with the twists and disruptions along the way

Not a cowboy/ranch story... A type of romance male centered novel or a Nora Roberts mystery love story ? Do you have an author you consider a good model?

I started my day off with two cups of Starbucks ground coffee beans. Who does not like the odor of coffee being made? I am prepared to read your stories with great interest

The stampede really impacted the cowboys and made them see the danger they faced close up. Morgan was really pushed to his limits and he was fortunate to have a good and capable horse. The survived ! When he finally reached the barn he collapsed at first before he could take care of his valiant horse The immense pressure release from the deadly stampede led Morgan and Troy to hugs and kiss in the barn shower. Their actions were no longer private. Troy's father became aware of their new relationship. He met with Troy and Morgan after dinner to discuss their relationship. Morgan was still worked up and held nothing back. He told Mr. Riggs of his true past and that he was only 16 It is good now that he was honest and not hiding. What will Mr. Riggs do? Will he help him or turn him away?? Troy will be in his corner.

Dutch Bros operates over 1,200 drive-through coffee locations across roughly 25 U.S. states, with the highest concentrations in Western states like California, Texas, Oregon, and Arizona, while expanding into the Midwest and Southeast. There are two near me in Sacramento. They will have large lines of people in cars during the day

I am very proud of the complex and fully considerate and caring Andy who is helping Bartholomew carry on with his own children. Andy is considering Esca will end him and does not want his unique knowledge about gargoyles to end without enabling Bartholomew. Andy is a true friend, Esca at some point will face Batholomew, Lucas and the werewolf pack. I hope and pray the odds do not favor Esca.

Do not forget Dutch Brothers which has a great following in the US A Dutch Bros Pup Cup (often called a Dutch Pup Cup) is a free small cup filled with whipped cream and topped with a crunchy dog biscuit treat. It is completely free of charge when you visit a Dutch Bros Coffee drive-thru with your dog

Chapter 22: The Narrow Gate
akascrubber commented on Topher Lydon's story chapter in Chapter 22: The Narrow Gate
12 more chapters---We must be ready to see much more pain and surprises for the main characters. This destruction of Merrick's foul plot is a wonderful plot twist and very welcomed. There are tantalizing lose ends. It is encouraging to know you are satisfied with your total effort. You are giving confidence in wanting to read what happens in the end. -
Chapter 22: The Narrow Gate

Andrew a was awesome, insightful and unrelenting. He carried out his mission on no sleep and save Will who may not know what he has done When confronted with the facts, Will figured out what Merrick was going to do and decided what he could do to stop him. Tanaka was impressed by his analysis and willingness to face Avery to reveal the impending disaster. He played a fierce game with Avery and showed him the manipulated evidence against Will and the routing numbers for Merrick's plan. Avery knows the money is being held and could not buy the stock and Merrick's offshore matters are going to be revealed to his great dismay. He will not own CanAm and his great scheme fails. He may not know who did him in. I do not expect Merrick is going to accept his defeat without lashing out. If he used any drug partner money in his effort, he will get his partners very mad. Andrew should be looking over his shoulder. -

OMG--The bomb is planted--Merrick will be financially ruined. He is not going to see the disaster happening CSIS has intervened and Will met Avery and gave him the evidence to save his company. Will is saved. But, what happens to Andrew? Is he going to be fired? Is he going to be killed? Merrick losses and federal investigation are going to shock him. Might his drug partners take out their upset on him? -

"The heist had officially begun. " Will Merrick be eventually surprised? -
Elias was found out by his father to be having a gay relationship with a boy. His father was appalled and banished him to run a plantation he owned in the Kingdom of Hawaii. He may never be asked back . Elias is thrown out essentially from the family and may need to take charge of his own future. Will he grow up or crack? His comfortable life as he has known it has ended. This is a time of great turmoil. The US just won what is California in a war that ended in February of this year, 1848. Hawaii is run as a kingdom till 1898 and large plantations were enabled only after 1850 when a new law was passed. Legal matters need to be solved. Augustus Wentworth will have his hands full.

Mark's effort to reach Sandro and apologize at the party went way off track when someone hit him and threw him into Sandro. Both guys were shocked and Sandro read the hit the wrong way and thought Mark intended to hit and hurt him Mark is devastated. Is this over for them? How can he recover and tell Sandro his true feelings? Can someone who saw the hit tell Sandro Mark was pushed into him by someone else? Or, can Mark find a third person to be a neutral voice to bring them to a meeting so they can talk honestly.

Chapter 21: The Whited Sepulchre
akascrubber commented on Topher Lydon's story chapter in Chapter 21: The Whited Sepulchre
What a glaring visual example which must indicate you are focusing on Merrick. You are writing about a cruel, egocentric monster who seeks to dominate and ground opponents into dust. He does not expect anyone can stop him and thinks his subversive actions are hidden from sight and not seen as lead by him until he springs his traps. He will always show others are defective or guilty Your next chapters should be fascinating with Merrick riding high. I somehow think he will not get everything he wants in the end and will cheer at his downfall. He might be surprised by his opponents. But, we will see..... -
I almost thought this meeting with Esca be like a large predator vs small predator in Jurassic Park with Declan turned into a nasty meal. However, Declan turned the tables on him and destroyed his threat to obliterate and wipe him and his pack off the earth. Esca was dumbfounded by what Declan said showing his business was tied up and realized his threats were really meaningless until he could develop new ones. His shotgun was relegated to be a sterile piece of art. His 1950 era cherry smelling pipe tobacco became an unpleasant lingering odor. ( I preferred vanilla scented pipe tobacco myself) Declan won round one against Esca and then won round two by giving Andy a perfect used leather jacket that supremely comforted him. Finally, Declan won round three by making sure Andy was given a barely heated hamburger full of bloody juices that ended his famine from the sterile substance Esca provided. Andy's juvenile prank will not stop the good mood Declan created. Andy should be a more assertive vampire when he returns to his home/prison.

Chapter 21: The Whited Sepulchre
akascrubber commented on Topher Lydon's story chapter in Chapter 21: The Whited Sepulchre
Alastair is a total, unredeemable bastard. He relishes breaking people and running roughshod over them. The doctored photo of Will and Jason will be used to scare three conservative Can Am board members to fear the merger. Will is going to be crucified by leaks to the press. Kellerman will be the scapegoat when an inquiry seeks to learn what happened and who leaked. Merrick sees that the board members will dump their shares and the share price will severely drop. His agents will buy the deflated stock and he will in turn be in control of the Can Am. He will set a very high price to Avery-Woods. Merrick will regain control of the law firm and his laundering plans will continue. Gable will still be under his control. Merrick has set up a complex plan and assumes it will succeed in the way and time he expects. He has redirected hundreds of millions of cash already to be ready to buy the expected shares when they are dumped on the market. Of course, Merrick is undertaking action that is massively illegal, if found out. If the plan crushed, Merrick might be financially ruined Merrick assumes Marcus can give him incriminating tapes and other data to cement his case against Will as a child predator But, Marcus is still in jail and maybe speaking freely fearing his charges. The lawyer he thought would save him walked away from him. The more Marcus is scared, the more he is open for a plea deal. Merrick cannot get the material he wants if Marcus is in jail. I can expect Merrick to aggressively find a new lawyer for Marcus. But, can he get one before Marcus takes a plea deal and is kept in jail. Will the delay in building a solid case against Will destroy his corporate takeover and cost him heavily? There might be others who will try to stop Merrick. I hope to learn about them. -
Lucas does not accept that Andy is lost to him, I believe. He just knows in his heart and overconfident mind that Andy will return to him after this mess is handled. Besides. Ronan's ass needs relief.
-
I am going to love the scene when Declan meets daddy Esca and hopes he can survive the brutal interrogation. Will Declan get out of the house alive and not severely traumatized and missing body parts? Will Esca put the fear of the devil in him so he and Andy can barely function?

Chapter 20: The Healing
akascrubber commented on Topher Lydon's story chapter in Chapter 20: The Healing
Might Marcus do and say things that hurts his position after his lawyer left him high and dry fearful of what might happen when he is put in prison. Marcus thinks he was abandoned by Merrick and left to fight his own battles. He might want to cut a deal to save himself. Maybe his next lawyer is a public defender. It might take time after a huge, internal battle before Kellerman's firm could decide to send a lawyer to represent Marcus.
