The soap opera continues. Some found sexual release. Some had trouble handling Jack's illness and their histories. It is sad that in the Jack died with his daughter present and feeling guilty. Will kept up expressing his perspectives giving people time to reflect. Now we are going to see how the various family members react and how Jessica fits in. I hope Jack's death can motivate others to be supportive. We will see.

Hunter physically hurt Richter with no consequences. In fact, he is likely making Richter the butt of his jokes with his fellow dogs. Richter let Hunter slide. Richter is going to regret this problem later, I expect. Aether wondered why Richter did not punish Hunter. Richter seemed only to excuse Hunter and not realize he had some personal, not just group, responsibilities. Yet, the important matter was that Aether wanted a physical relationship with Richter and it turns out he and Richter gladly enjoyed each other intimately.

Yeah--it turned into a date between new friends. The bike rise helped the feel something new and began , I think, a slow move towards realizing they had things in common. Steve finally came out to Kenny and said he was gay. Kenny, the devout religious son, did not reject him and want to flee. He , instead, took an intimate ride with Steve. The extended bike ride let them enjoy being physically close. I hope they will want more touching and learning about themselves.

Great frustration at CSIS. They cannot penetrate the enemy compound electronically. Dimitri is being held hostage. A phone call gave them a hint at Father's location, He may also be named Thorne like the compound commander. Andrew sent someone to find Father in the American South. It is very dangerous. Seeking someone in rural Louisiana will be challenging. An outsider will be quickly seen. Dimitri is being tortured. They want to know what Andrew and CSIS knows about their operations and Father Dimitri is holding out. The enemy to decide how far to go to torture Dimitri. Are they willing to break his rib or hand or cut off his fingers? They do not seem to know about waterboarding which was successfully used by intel agencies to break the 9/11 related terrorists without killing them. The military knows anyone can be broken.

OK--Joel told Celia at the last moment before they reached Joel's parents' house. He was emotional and Celia hugged him and supported him. The joint meeting had some highs and lows. Trace and Celia supported Joel. Lisa, his mother, wanted him to never come back and called him a pervert, Cody wanted to be with Joel and missed him. Lisa wanted him to leave Joel and go inside. Cody ran away. Trace and Joel's dad worked out an arrangement, and Cody and his dad would travel to visit Joel . Joel needs to decide about his school plan and face any anger from his coach. He would not be happy at his old school with new social pressures. In addition, Joel needs to come out at his new home. His sexual orientation is going to be known soon enough when Cody and his dad come over. Joel told Celia and she is in his corner.

I hope they found an ethical lawyer who is not going to trick them and hurt them!

OK Darius and crew survived by being aggressive and fool hardy. They called out pumpkin too late in my opinion. I felt like I was watching Darius act like John Wick relentlessly killing and still recovering to keep on killing Ronnie redeemed himself saving Joey. Daius was masterfully shoot Carmine's knee and giving him eternal pain. In the end he killed Vinnie and won finally their freedom from this mob. Zeke and Josh are in love and acting like it. Darius and Joey need to recover and be romantic, too. You told us there more to happen I know they have to meet with Riley to help open up the flash drive. Soon, their part will be over and the FBI can give them a clean slate. Where will the go ?

OMG--I did not see this coming. Steve is smart and cunning and wealthy--really wealthy. He does not want to shine and be more controlled by his mother like when he was younger. He is failing, but does not see how this makes him standout negatively. He fooled his teachers but not Kenny. He is forced to tell Kenny why he needs to score low to hide his assets jointly owned allegedly with his younger sister. In an unexpected twist, Steve offers to tutor Kenny to improve his test scores so he can earn a college scholarship. Kenny is shocked that Kenny knows his academic weakness and is willing to help him. Kenny accepts his offer if Kenny stops tricking/joking him, earns higher grades and buys him a steak dinner. How long will the agreement last and not be changed? Their simmering sexual tension was not addressed. BTW--How can two underage teenagers own businesses? The arrangement needs an explanation or it is a fantasy.

Chapter 1 showed us the bed guys who must now be out for payback that will reinforce their values and control Chapter 2 showed us the loving and chaotic Carter family life and some possible targets for Father's men Now, the contests begin...

Wow--Renn killed Marl and has gotten away with it in the confusion. When all seemed lost, it has gotten even worse. The Redeemers of purity have capture Josel and others . What is their purpose? Renn said he was to go on to the Misty Isles and lied saying he demanded from Megly and Marl that Zdain go with him. Zdain did not know better, Is he going to be the sex pawn Renn desires? There is so much to worry about.

Dollar General is a type of store often in rural and small towns that sells basic items at a low cost and often small quantities. It serves mostly people on tight budgets who look for value.

By pure luck, Kenny realized Steve, the goofball, was deliberately failing his tests. He knew the subject n=matter, kept b nest, clear notes and scored well on practice tests. Kenny knew, Kenny scored low deliberately. So, Kenny asked Steve why. He was the first to learn Steve was scoring low on purpose. Will Steve tell the real reason he is sabotaging himself? Will he try making a joke out of it or tell a half-truth? Will Steve finally tell Kenny the real reason--even if it is painful? What will Kenny do what Steve gives his explanation after some soul searching?

Andrew's organization has a leak, I suggest he find it quickly. The Reverend knew too much.

I am getting depressed hearing how these three keep not understanding each other. At least two years in these three remain committed to their friendship.

It is not perfect Baptist order in Kenny's case. Kenny is LDS and Steve has blown up his carefully thought-out plans.

What a strange school admin that would allow one student to buy out all the tickets to two major dances ! Steve is a scoundrel who pushes the limits and knows how to get what he wants. He needed a ride to the dance with his sister and forced Kenny to give them a ride. Incidentally, on the way to school, Steve realized he really liked Kenny who had proceeded to antagonize. We still have to see if the tutoring sessions will help improve Steve's grades and attitude.

It is highly worth reading this second book of a three-part series. You end wanting to seek out part three. We are told-- Hugo "Wojciech is alone in a world of mirrors, haunted by the knowledge that he sacrificed his love, Alec Stoker, to save him." Follow their journeys, time distortions, extreme challenges and evil, powerful opponents. There are times all seem lost. Hugo and Alec are driven by their love for each other to continue on. They do not lose faith.

You left us enough loose ends and possibilities to make your readers really need to read your next book. I think it will be time to see how the key characters--Billy, Hugo, Stoker, Thomas, Miller--evolve given what has happened. Thankfully the tormentor, Dottie, is dead and can no longer cause mayhem Congrats to you and the insightful Jeff Burton.

Great premise--I so want to see these two guys figure out each other and hopefully connect. It should be messy and fun. Thanks for this new expression of your creativity.

Jimmy---Oh Jimmy What an intimate, sometimes raw and painful life story of the ups and downs of Jimmy living in Ottawa. You will learn of his challenges, internal struggles, friends, lovers and some special people that influenced him in wonderful ways. Pay attention to Wil. Jimmy kept going. He knew what mattered. He is a fascinating man. You are going to be marveled by him and like him.

What a touching, painful, exhausting and mutually needed separation for Wil and Jimmy. You helped us know the meant so much to each other but needed to move on to have real lives. This time in Ottawa was important and helped them grow and learn and love. Jimmy knew he had to be strong and leave. Thank you for being so revealing and compelling.
