It’s asthma AND cancer. I’ll let you wait for the explanation in a couple chapters. The numbers I used were 7.7% of the US has asthma. 5.4% have cancer. So about 0.4% of the population would have both. There’s no sex surrounding the kids, so that should lessen the concern. Just a few attempts at soliciting sex. Again, to arrive later.

Dang, and here I thought I made up the name. But the story starts out in NJ and mostly takes place in PA. A couple chapters and the limits of the cloud will be explained.

True, but the mistake wasn't noticed: The violation may still be there; however, it was unintentional.

This turn of events surprised me. Not that Uncle Bastard would return, but the violence inflicted was definitely unexpected. Lucas may be a jerk, but nobody deserves that. Jerk or not, I got misty-eyed reading this chapter. I hope @Ronyx decides to spare Lucas' life, but I'm not at all confident that will happen.

Yikes. I better update it to kill all the animals in the affected area too. Birds dropping from the skies, skunks releasing their stink spray as they die, what fun I could have with that.

The water kept running, so more and more of the diluted solution was created. Perhaps only a single molecule would be enough. The science behind the how isn't really explained. It spreads, but it does have a limited area. However, we're quite a few chapters ahead of things. The first half of the story, for the most part, is the adventures of George and Lionel.
