  1. You forgot the police level background check!
  2. Yeah, my bad guys don’t get spared any mercy.
  3. They are the worst. If I would get any nastier, I couldn’t post it here.
  4. 11 in total, only 8 right now, and never more than 10 at once. I’m not a fanatic. 😆
  5. Shhhhh. Don’t tell my secrets.
  6. Was it really that bad? I must be desensitized to violence.
  7. Um, OK, maybe not. 😄
  8. Yes, the wee laddies definitely have got it all together. I think you’ll be happy with my choices for special needs.
  9. The reaching out piece is somewhat autobiographical. I hit bottom, thought about ending it all, then came to my senses and went for help. You can say that again. And you probably will. Would you believe me if I told you he gets more frightening?

    Hotel Room 606

Didn’t think of anything clever. Wanted to avoid the obvious reference to Oliver’s demise. That could have driven his final comments, I suppose. Can’t say I’ve ever heard of a hotel with that many rooms on one floor.
  11. I could have been more graphic. Damn, you caught me.

    Hotel Room 606

Unusual? Darn, and I was going for run of the mill. Thanks for the sense of humor comment. I needed to lighten it up a bit.
  13. Except as tattoos.

Thanks for giving it a shot out of your comfort zone.
  15. Really, if you want to go, go alone.
  16. For sure.

    Hotel Room 606

Thanks, but remember, anything is possible in fiction. But the belief that this kind of energy gets “stored” does exist.
  18. March 1, 1966 I'd been sitting here on the banks of the Mississippi River nearly fifty years. I'd heard of a few incidents of criminal activity from my fellow rooms. There are eighty-two of us here in the Memphis-Mississippi Hotel. Well, that's what it's called now. It's had a few name changes since it was built over a nearly two-year period between 1914 and 1916. I, being on the top floor, came into being in early August of 1916. The hotel itself first opened for business on Monday, Septem
  19. Part 1 - Learning The Ropes The Collins family checked in on July second the same year as the murder-suicide. Once again, I didn't think anything of it, they seemed nice. I guess, on the whole, they were. They had a young son and an older daughter. The boy, Brodie, was getting on my nerves. First, he would jump up and down on one of the beds. Then, I guess he wanted to play Kung Fu, or something. He'd jump up and body slam the wall, landing back on the bed. I swear, if I could have moved th
  20. It's a common belief that places can be haunted due to things that occurred there. This seems especially true for prisons, hospitals, and hotels. As I have done before, I thought it would be interesting to tell a story from a unique perspective; this time, a haunted hotel story, but from the hotel's most notorious room's perspective. So, once again, this is an anthropomorphic story. We'll get to experience some of the nasty things that happened in room 606 of the fictional Memphis-Mississippi Hotel. We will experience what the room witnesses. Witnesses, or is the room itself an active participant?
  21. Wouldn't surprise me in the least. Damn, didn't think of that.
  22. Hopefully, that it true.
  23. I do speed some things up, don't I? Loving and emotional? Me? Well, OK if you insist.
  24. Yeah, this has got to be one of my tamest stories, so HEA almost has to be the case. No, not throwing a red herring. Really? Yes! Why don't you believe me? Hehe.
  25. Keep wondering. In a word, yes.
