Hold onto your hat. More interesting is coming.

Not to mention scratch. I still have scars from the lack of protection from last summer’s short pants.
-
As good a possibility as any.
-
Hmmm, could be.
-
Apparently AWOL.
-
Thank you. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Maybe because I'd read it quite a few times.
-
Ouch. Maybe your view on that may change in a couple chapters.

I think I can manage, I wear my sunglasses at night.

I'm not sure I handle anything with kid gloves, but we'll have to see where I take this. Well, where the characters take it. I don't seem to write the stories, but the characters drive me.

Thanks. Yes, I'm hoping there's a long way to go. I'm not as far ahead as I have been lately, chapter 4 is nearly ready to be proofread. Plus, I'm mixing in a chapter or three of 'If Furniture Could Talk' since each of those chapters can pretty much stand on their own.

We move on from those three, but I did hear that blondie shot up the school after Stepen moves away, and the two brown-haired boys were his only victims. Before, of course, turning the gun on himself.
-
Nope. Nobody near me has any idea of what I really am. Almost nobody at all, but one. But as I said poetically, with that person, there's 'Something In The Way.'

Glad you are interested already. Both Leon and Jeff are candidates for transformation. We'll see how that goes.

I'm glad Judah escaped, but I'm unsure of what he escaped from. Maybe there's more vampire and witch rules that one should be familiar with. I typically don't read vampire stories, but was too far into it before I realized that's what Judah was. Like him, I wonder what the prophecy was, but apparently it wasn't going to be something good for him. No need to try to explain things to me, vampires don't do anything for me, and apologies, Cia, but I'll probably forget this one before too long.

Michael, You’ve Got A Lot To Answer For . . .
Lee Wilson commented on MrM's story chapter in Michael, You’ve Got A Lot To Answer For . . .
After Michael came out to Brian, I was kind of hoping they'd be together forever. Alas, the world doesn't always work that way. A story filled with teenaged angst. I think Comsie could have written it as well.- 9 comments

I could just as easily have picked the sad icon. Very nice, Myr.

I figured since kids can be cruel; I'd get most of it out of the way early. Of course that doesn't mean there won't be more.

His mom dropped him off at school. He was looking forward to making some friends. He lived 'in the county,' as his dad called it, outside of town. Nobody lived close by, so he was alone a lot. Hell, aside from his older brother, who was six at the time, he was alone all the time. The troubles started the moment he walked into the kindergarten classroom. At first, he couldn't hear the whispers, but as he got close to a table with three boys at it, preparing to sit down, his world turned to s

Most thirteen-year-old boys would be upset when his parents told him they were moving. Stephen Zamora wasn't like most boys. Leaving his friends? Not a problem; he didn't have any. Changing schools? That was like a gift; he hated his school. Starting over? Another gift: maybe the boys in the new town wouldn't hate him. He laughed to himself. He knew that last item wouldn't happen. He was ugly and he knew it. Hell, every boy and girl he'd ever met told him so. His eyes were un

Stephen Zamora has been picked on by his peers since his first day of school almost eight years ago. School starts again in about five weeks. Stephen is not looking forward to it. A new school, in a new town. A fresh start. A whole new set of tormentors await him. And one boy who will make his life bearable again.

This was written as an entry in the 2025 Writing Event - Comicality Tribute - Coming of Age. I hope it is well-received. I've read this partial story a few times now and have frequently lamented the loss of Comsie and all the unfinished stories that will never be complete. I obviously have no idea where Comsie planned on taking this story next, but I'd like to offer my suggestion. Comsie, wherever you are, I never really knew you, traded a couple comments, but I hope you're happy and you don't curse me for this.

Part One: I Have A Bigger Secret
Lee Wilson commented on Jason Rimbaud's story chapter in Part One: I Have A Bigger Secret
Is Tyler so desperate for Brandon, he told him he could tell his friend, without knowing who it was? Or is Ashley being Brandon's friend common knowledge? Or maybe he's comfortable with people knowing he's gay and this is the start of his total coming out. Guess we gotta keep reading. LMK when it's soon enough to start looking at part 2, you only have 4 chapters up on Drive.- 28 comments
