Manny's First Party, and More Troubles
Lee Wilson commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Manny's First Party, and More Troubles
This isn't the place for a political argument, so I'll bow out now and keep my opinions to myself. The other readers probably don't care what I think about politics and politicians, anyway. -

Well, I didn't know it until I started answering these comments. As far as batshit goes; you're just as likely to meet a batshit Democrat. They're all crazy and worthless, at least the ones in public office. Apparently, winning an election corrupts even the most honest person. -

Yeah, Alaska is, or at least was, a special case until 2019. As far as Walmart is concerned: As of September 2019, we have discontinued the sale of: handguns, which were previously sold only in our Alaska stores ammunition for handguns It wouldn't surprise me if other stores held out just as long, or longer. Alaska is pretty much the final frontier, w.r.t. the US. -

Not even Walmart will let you walk out with a handgun right away. The main reason for that is they don't sell them anymore. You could get a rifle or shotgun (technically any long gun, not auto or semi-auto) within 30 minutes in some states. That would be after a federal background check. The background check could take up to three days in some instances. Unfortunately, the rules aren't the same for private sellers. Finding one at the drop of a hat probably isn't that easy, especially in a lightly populated area where I chose to place the bar. Wally already owned the gun. -

Probably shouldn't say this, well, I'll hide this little tidbit about Rocky and 8th grade, so you don't have to see it if you don't want to. Well, I don't say anything about the weapon, it's a fairly small neighborhood bar, so close is pretty sure. -

It was meant as a surprise, so I hit the nail on the head, it seems. -

True, Eva and Magda were less famous as it were. At least as far as I knew. -

And the one you've already seen isn't nasty enough? Challenge accepted. That was Rocky's observation. Perhaps the cameras were installed with hopes she will see it happen. Got it. My thinking was simply that everyone else was paired off. -

I haven't watched 'Green Acres' in a long time, but perhaps Arnold Ziffle sang in one episode. -

I see Zuri already answered about his role. Writer's block is occasionally a concern, but fortunately for me, it doesn't usually last very long. Thanks for the compliment. -

If it came from Kelly. Remember, Kelly was hoping to see a couple guys having sex. Could be a reason for that. I'm American, so I guess that follows. That would be a nasty twist, wouldn't it? Fiction is funny that way. Perhaps he has little time for a social life. I picture him just past college age. Perhaps he's working on his Master's or PhD. -

He was shot next to the bar. Oh... that's not what you meant. That answer comes soon. School will definitely be a new experience for Rocky. I'll leave it at that. I'll have to consider his level of trauma around that. I have an idea bubbling on the stove. The wait won't be very long. Call it early Sunday morning, EDT. -

I'll give a little spoiler, he does survive until chapter 15. That's as far as I've gotten so far, so I can guarantee nothing beyond that. Thanks for the kudos.- 49 comments

I believe that encouragement will come, but not necessarily via a boot. We'll have to see on the fate. Yeah, having a discussion like that might be as fruitful as teaching a pig to sing. Good and bad seems to have been "inherited" from Kelly. School will indeed include a shock or two. -

Badly wounded, I guess that depends on your idea of bad wounds. No legal troubles are expected. Leave his job... Hmmm.- 49 comments

It shouldn't be a very long wait. I already have the edits. Rocky's mouth is a disappointment. I hope he gets a lesson on that at some point.- 49 comments

Not sure about them being sued. There was no negligence on Charles’ part. True about Rocky. But he likely won’t see Don too often. But there are gay boys everywhere these days, it seems.- 49 comments

Wednesday Manny got to Charlie's a little early, so he could contact everybody he invited for Sunday. Charles was still there, and Taylor was working, so they were easy. Charles, his wife Betty, and daughter Maryann would come. Maryann would be able to keep Rocky company—she was twelve, and smaller than average as well. Loretta Taft and her boyfriend Paul Stanton, Taylor Stalling and her girlfriend, Amanda Svent, Priscilla and her husband Troy Livingston would come with their sons Dona

Much. But Mark Lester is cuter. I'd have use a clip from that version.

Don't beg. It doesn't become you. Besides, some authors might purposely delay the next chapter. Of course, "I" never would. 😁
