Nope, never in the business, but love music. Load Out/Stay. Very possibly in my top 10 all time favorite songs. I have a playlist called Mood Boost. It’s on it. Good. She was lucky. My mom had the VA benefit, and SSI, but it still took more than a thousand out of her savings every month to make up the difference. Fortunately, her and dad were smart with investing in bonds and the like and she didn't run out of money before she passed.

Another nice, quiet chapter. It's definitely difficult when one has to help place a parent or parents in places like this. Even the ones that look okay initially may not remain that way. Both of the places described offer a lot more than where my mom stayed for the last few years of her life. And if memory serves, it was way more than Al mentioned and that was ten years ago when she passed.
