    Part 2

Poor Johnny-boy; on top of losing his parents, not understanding what changes his body was going through, thinking he ruined the bed. Another good job.

    Part 1

Yes, the names are confusing. Who will be the John/Christian from ‘The Boot?’ I think I’ll keep reading and find out.
  3. Cool. Thanks.
  4. Sounds like how I come up with pretty much all of mine. I’m looking at right field, and they come hurtling at me out of left field.
  5. It makes one question just how aware comatose people are. The train of thought is an interesting perspective. Completely different topic, but I did one of those many years ago. I included it in a nifty story that probably wouldn't fly on GA. Well done.
  6. A very good back-story. Looking forward to more of the series.

    Part 3

Too much truth here. In the US, veterans are often left to their own devices regardless of how well they are able to care for themselves. This situation probably occurs IRL all too often.
  8. Unfortunately, you may be right. Thanks for reading and commenting.
  9. Not a request for help, but more an enhancement request. Often a chapter has many comments. It would be nice to have a link to the next chapter after the last comment.

    Part 2

A tragic point in the story. But then, many lives are touched by tragedy often.

    Part 1

A touching beginning to the Major’s story. I’m actually glad I won’t have to wait for next chapters condtantly. 😀

    The Boot

Finally got around to starting the series after enjoying ‘Baxter Boys.’ Looking forward to reading more. I’m happy there truly are people like John, Jeff, et al, who are willing to help those in need. Unfortunately, humanity as a whole doesn’t.
  13. I’ll echo a few other commenters. Paraphrasing Dickins, please ma’am, I’d like some more. Well done in so few words.
  14. Thanks. I always like to at least touch on what happens after ‘the end.’
  15. Probably not an uncommon observation of my story endings. I was there once, but would love to go back. It’s an easy place to have a thing for. True, but it barely makes up for having your life ripped out from under you. True, but even traditional couples that want to adopt have to make the request. LOL
  16. I’ll reply to the only part of that I understood. You have a good weekend too.
  17. Again, thanks for reading and commenting.
  18. Thanks. And mostly a HEA, except for just one jerk.
  19. Yeah, at this point, it was a good idea.
  20. Thanks for reading and commenting. That goes for everybody.
  21. Thanks. I figured I’d continue to avoid the surprise endings.
  22. Hold that thought.
  23. You may be surprised about the aggressor label.
  24. Odd. I’m not sure this will be any different: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php/?photo_id=122114846048126619
