  1. Prophetic. I actually use an alternative spelling in the next story. Maybe I’ll add another. Nothing like Alyx-whatever.
  2. Yep, the answer will arrive soon. I was contemplating a MWF series of posts. But now with folks “anxiously waiting” perhaps I’lm be a little cruel and wait an extra day. 😈
  3. Never been to one, but I know their reputation. Good call on the tissues. Keep them handy for two more chapters. 😢
  4. I wanted to add a little fun. It's such a serious chapter, had to lighten it up a bit.
  5. The next couple of weeks flew by. Dave and his family settled into Colton's house. Patty resumed going to the Ohio house to continue packing. The weekend after the double move, Colton, the boys, and I accompanied Dave's family to the Ohio house. We got a lot done with three men packing, three boys being runners, and Patty coordinating. The delay for closing the new house finally had an end date, Monday, March twenty-fifth, which meant we had two more weekends plus Patty's weekday visits to pack
  6. It just means I get paid a day later. 🤑
  7. Thanks. I did move things along pretty rapidly. But aside from making them big stars, flaming out is not unreasonable. Glad you came to love the characters.
  8. They’re floating so smoothly, it feels like they’re gliding across a mirror.
  9. Thanks. I'll answer your question because I don't think it's much of a spoiler. Zero.
  10. It's like a plant, it wants the sunshine. 😁

    Chapter 1

He was growing tired of listening to platitudes of condolences. He thought that if he heard another, “I’m sorry for your loss,” he would kill the person who said it. This is so, so true. And a nice little story as well.
  12. Calm is the norm from here on. Maybe. Added the characters as a trigger for something else. They won't play a part going forward. Good or bad? Yes, one of those.
  13. Thanks. Sounds like I did a good job on that one.
  14. Thursday Colton texted me during the day to tell us not to eat before we came over to check out the house. After he got home last night, he discussed the plan with his parents. His mother insisted on cooking for everybody, especially since Dave's family might be neighbors. Since Dad was over, Dave drove. His Escalade had more room than Patty’s vehicle. Although, I could have acted as Dom's booster seat, haha. We got to the senior Kang's a little after six-thirty. Joon had set the kitch
  15. Um. OK. I think I need a translator.
  16. Late to the game very late), but thanks @Cia for the excerpt. A nice little story. I too wished a nastier result for the General. The shark could have at least taken a small chunk of flesh. But then, who wants a shark with foot poisoning. Gawd, that's bad...
  17. The one liner didn't pique my interest, but I'll be reading it after seeing the excerpt.
  18. Thanks. But I’m not planning any more deaths. Things can always change, so, we’ll see. Now, how shall I kill… Dolly? J/K
  19. Woo woo woo
  20. Yep. Hope is good. I guess this is a teaser, rather than a spoiler, but it will end up benefiting four families.
  21. Yes, it is, isn't it? 😁
  22. Well, it is only a temporary situation, and Patty is learning to control her impulses. No troubles in this regard are forthcoming. Maybe, maybe not.
