    Let’s just say if I had a nickel for every person I killed, I could easily never have to work again. Although the number is usually small, single or low double digits, there were two that might be considered catastrophic and cataclysmic.

    I don't know that my father was much into popular music of any type, he did have a few records of Italian music. He once heard Eric Clapton's 'Lay Down Sally.' He thought the words were 'Way down south.' I wasn't about to correct him.

    The twins would be better off living in a hospital; it would be less antiseptic. I picture the parents as Thurston and Lovey Howell, snobbish and unconcerned with anything other than their own pleasure. Davin is a ticking time bomb. He needs to open up or when his parents get home, he may end up killing them. (or maybe that's just me.) He hates his existence. Getting together with Joel may be just the thing he needs.

    The twins had to have been conceived on a cruise ship. I'd be willing to bet when the parents are there, they have separate bedrooms.

    Some people are threats to society without even knowing it. Claude likely knew what he was doing was wrong but perhaps was so used to being the way he was, couldn't really change. Did he have a moment of clarity while the ax was heading his way? Maybe, but obviously, we'll never know. Those that don't think what they're doing is bad for humanity (or the country in one case) are even worse. Thinking you're doing good when you are not worse than knowing you're doing bad.

    The three of them walked into the school together, Craig on one side of Ed, George on the other. Craig was well known in the school. Not the toughest guy, but at six foot eight, even only slightly stocky, the starting center for the Clinton Dragons varsity basketball team still presented an imposing profile.
