    A nice, gentle chapter. Yes, Clint is a persistent little bugger, maybe he’ll find himself a boyfriend at some point and leave Michael alone. Nice lottery wins. A decent chunk of change, but not a fortune. On to Christmas day!!!

    I added this quote in the post-chapter notes of a recent penultimate chapter of a story of mine. I think it applies here: I think Richard Carlson said it best in his book, 'Don't Sweat the Small Stuff.' “As long as you think more is better, you’ll never be satisfied.”

    I agree that Joel needs to step it up and share with Celia. Depending on what happens with Colt, he may not have a choice if they get angry with him for disappearing.

    I usually have most of my characters get a HEA, but borrowing from someone of her stature wouldn't be a bad thing. Yes, it is a vacation, I'll be in Southern California for a week starting tomorrow morning.

    Thanks. Many ways I could have gone, moving in with the uncle for Marie was a last-minute change of direction. The rest, probably mostly expected.
