    I’ll skip doing a review because the story totally confused me and I would probably give it fewer stars than it deserves. Personally, I wasn’t able to keep all the factions straight. If you read this, pay close attention, because you could possibly get lost if you don’t. Or if your reading comprehension is as terrible as mine is.

    OK, so they got their revenge. I’m still not clear on all the players. But that’s just me. Maybe scanning through the historical stuff, I missed something important. I somehow missed the fact that they weren’t all friends or allies, I guess. I watched ‘The Temptations’ earlier tonight. The title of one of their songs describe this story to me perfectly, ‘Ball of Confusion.’

    So, I’m confused. Different reason. Chapter 8 ended with Jakob and Matt seemingly heading back to Jakob’s to have sex. But here, it seems like they haven’t yet. Did I miss chapter 8 1/2 where all that happened?

    I got nothing. Starting to get very confused. History was my worst subject in school. Some of this seems like a history lesson to me. But I’m in this deep, I shall persevere.

    If they rub the bowl, will a Genie come out of it? Then Matt can wish Ralph away, maybe into the cornfield. Then wish Oscar to be his. As for the third wish? I’ll get back to you after the next chapter. I’ll temporarily be returning to the Twilight Zone.

    True, I'm seeing him simply as a mis-guided youth. While he uses the 'f' term, he's not truly homophobic. He has local friends, even though he has been home schooled. His brother is gay, perhaps not openly, but to avoid the peer pressure, and the 'your brother is gay, you must be too' comments, he has to put on a facade. Another 'f' word, fear. Perhaps he threatened her. Maybe she's smaller than he is. Definitely more Jeff is coming.
