  1. Yes, she has at least one shred of decency. And asthma, otherwise the pathogen, as you call it, would make it to the brain. Very much so. At least a hint at that in a couple chapters. Yes, for as long as they could breathe verrrrrrrrry slowly
  2. There were quite a few ideas about what to do next. Put up more signs was one. Suggesting places where people might gather and checking them out was another. Benjamin suggested the airport, since Dr. Allen had indicated there were people at Atlanta's. Once again, it was one of the younger ones that came up with the right questions. George asked, "Why don't we try posting things on social media? Or even seeing what has been posted by others?" Nia responded first, "I've been watching my
  3. Thanks for editing, reading, and commenting.
  4. You're welcome.
  5. I won't spoil anything aside from saying wait 2 chapters.
  6. Happy you liked it!
  7. That will be shared Saturday, mid-afternoon your time. (3:30)
  8. So few answers. Just kidding. A lot more will be shared in chapter 6 about how widespread it is, and more.
  9. Thanks much!
  10. Just have one thing to say. When's the wedding? 😀
  11. There are varying degrees of safe. Might it grow up healthy in body? Sure. In mind? I wouldn't bet on it.
  12. Depends on her level of stupidity, or the desperation level of her partners. No pregnancy is planned, and in ML's defense, her idea of a lot is anyone who would be willing to also put up with her long enough to get an erection. I'm thinking a lot is 3 or 4 to her.
  13. Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it.
  14. Apparently, Dr. Allen has cancer, which would be the main reason he got into doing that research. Asthma is a bit more common, so perhaps he lucked out. Or, another option, enough time has passed, and the gas has dissipated or fallen harmlessly to earth. There were some in Hazmat suits and sealed rooms at the CDC, where Dr. Allen spent Wednesday. I'm going to say one of two things, either Dr. Allen just said the CDC was coming to hopefully avoid being called on it, or he really did call them, and they are on their way.
  15. Indeed it does.
  16. He will be heard from once again. I doubt it will change any opinions about him, though.
  17. Very true, but I didn't venture in that direction.
  18. Oh, man. You won't believe how awfully far from the truth that is. Hell's Angels indeed.
  19. Mathias is upset that you overlooked his rejection of Marie-Louise. He's on his way to find her and send her to your house. 😁 Otherwise, thanks. Too bad I'm not a chemist; I could get rich if I pulled that off.
  20. I hadn't thought of it like that, but I suppose you're right.
  21. Simple, whimsical, yet powerful. Sounds like a winner to me. Thanks.
  22. Whimsical. I don't believe I've ever seen that used to describe one of my pieces. But I like it, it fits this one. Thanks.
  23. Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks.
  24. Thanks. And if that wasn't the case, the world would be a better place.
  25. Friday Tamika helped Ryan get breakfast set up for everybody, happy to be useful. Benjamin and Marie-Louise left at 10:00 AM after breakfast. Benjamin had found the article he previously read; it was indeed Mission Critical Labs in Clinton. When they pulled into the parking lot and walked up to the front door, they noticed the man lying dead in the doorway. "That does seem to bode well that it all started here." "Yeah. I hope there ain't a lot of other dead bodies in there."
