Another gem from the pen of the prolific @Lee Wilson, the Prince of GA

This one set in Georgia centres on the lives of two boys, both of whom face physical challenges, challenges which make them the target of bullies, and not just of the male variety. In fact, one of their bullies is of the female variety, and she is one of Lee's most grotesque creations to date.

Spiced with liberal doses of homophobia, teenage angst, adult and teenage stupidity, and a healthy dose of revenge, it is another Wilsonian winner.

Response from the author:

Thanks. I had to laugh at the grotesque comment!

How refreshing to read about a couple of boys who are not perfect specimens of flawless looks, but are so compelling because of their inner beauty!  Supported by their families who grow to be very close too, the boys face challenges of bullying, homophobia, and judgment .  Additionally, there are characters who experience severe moment of assault/abuse, ignorance and redemption.  Lee Wilson has crafted a well-written and compelling story.

Response from the author:

Thanks for the awesome review.

A truly amazing story! A story of physical and mental abuse by people who don't care about other's feelings but their own! But don't want to spoil the story for a new reader, but this story will get your heart strings going because of a disfigured teen and also a blind teen that have found each other that is the whole point of the story! Great job, @Lee Wilson!

Response from the author:

Thanks for another wonderful review.

Well where does one begin in reviewing this awesome story from @Lee Wilson.

We meet Stephen, a teenager who has been picked on his peers from when he started school, so nearly eight years.

Unfortunately his parents move to a new town and Stephen is faced with the prospect of starting a new school, in a few weeks time, of course he will not know anybody or so he thinks.

This is where the real action begins, Stephen makes a new friend in Michael, but things are not easy for the boys and there families.

They meet a whole load of tormentors, who set out to cause misery, pain and must more.

You really need to read this awesome story to discover more.

Lee has already promised more to come in Book 2.

Response from the author:

Thanks, Chris. I always welcome a good review. Well, bad ones too, fortunately there haven't been many of those.
