    Sons

I agree with other readers regarding Angelica. The connection is there, She was suddenly glad her husband hadn’t been at the hospital to witness Devon’s nephew crying over his precious heir. He would have –, for her to conclude he would have killed both of them. That understanding, both of them, is important because both of them, not just Walter, have been targeted. The question is what will she do with this realisation? Hopefully her love of her children will outweigh her concern for her husband. Walter Samson III's obsession with family name, wealth and reputation has become pathological. It is the reverse prism through which everything is reduced to one outcome. An outcome that justifies the means. I believe that the resulting tunnel vision will result in him making more mistakes and his world unraveling. Another excellently written chapter. Welcome back.
  2. Fair enough. Skipping between past and present can become confusing.
  3. Do we know that Brad has an ex? I seem to have missed that. We know Alex was married and has divorced. To me, we haven't been told anything about Brad's life between graduation and the pre-wedding gathering.

    Chapter 8

Sorry to hear about your laptop. Maybe it needs the combination of love and magic in this chapter. Oh wait there, it's already fucked

    Chapter 8

What can I say about this chapter that hasn't been said? Fun filled loving and magical sex, honest introspection from our heroes and a blue moon blessing. A winning trifecta!

    Chapter 13

Things are looking very positive for the new JJ and Dallas, although Timmy is still a potential problem. Maybe Dallas needs to knock some sense into him with a crutch. I'm curious about the two in the toilet and their role in the story. JJ seems to have recognised one of them.
  7. It seems @Myr is playing with us by giving us words with similar meanings and use in English. Simile is of course the partner to yesterday's word of the day, metaphor. Both describe something by reference to something else. Years ago when I was in school being taught about English grammar and writing, this is how I was told to tell the difference between a simile and a metaphor; With a metaphor the reference is to say one thing is the other, The world's a stage and we are merely players, whereas a simile simply says one thing is like another using like or as, he's as strong as an ox and her hair was like spun gold. It's an explanation I've found very useful. Credit and thanks to @Bill W for the examples I've used.

    Chapter 7

Lot of fun and loving tickles but there are bad vibes in Joy City with mysterious drones and non-ticklish androids (how unfair in this joyful world!). I'm looking forward to the Creator's Blue Moon and a night of family bonding.

    Chapter 6

Again lots of tickling along with some love and sexual fetish activity. I love the interaction between Dusty and Spirit.
  10. While reading this story, I always keep in mind Laura's warning that Lyn is an unreliable narrator. Having said that, I took “I know enough. It will never be you, Lynton.” Alexander loomed over him menacingly. “Read my lips. Never.” to simply be Alexander telling Lyn that he won't end up with Brad because he (Lyn) will end up with Alexander. Unreliable, Hmm.
  11. As members of GA we all know that "scorching hot" doesn't necessarily refer to weather.
  12. So eventually liar Vs liar becomes entwined lovers. Just as it should.

    The Healer

It would be so tempting to let Anthony die with his bigoted view of humans, even if there was some truth in his claims, but there is a strong element of justice in saving him against his will and having him admit that he was wrong. Something I doubt he is used to doing. When they find Theodore and Vince, as I'm sure they will, what state will they be in? And I don't mean KS.

Another one for the Kevin fan club. Don't worry @RoyKing, next one coming soon, with more Kevin

    Chapter 12

Thanks @andy cannon, but I'm not the only one to write vivid and unique characters, am I.
  16. Certainly a bunch of little imps, but full of love and goodness. I would hope that Darren gets what he deserves, but I suspect his parents will continue to blame everyone else.
  17. Awesome. I'm looking forward to it.

    Chapter 5

An inauspicious start to a career as a City Hero, but one he learnt from, including how effective tickles can be. I love the interview being turned on the interviewer and the TV station using it. It certainly is Joy City.

    Almost Famous

Arthur is suggesting he gave Jamie the choice of chasing fame or being a genuine musician and Jamie chose chasing fame. Jamie hints that he is now returning to music, but then his mind turns to being "a leaver" once again. Hopefully Hearst will give him a reason to stay. Nolan and Lucy don't show any respect or concern about their parents.
  20. Thank you @Bill W for this. I did not know and certainly would never have guessed a connection between halcyon and Kingfishers. I love learning new things about our words and the opportunity Word of the Day provides.

    Chapter 4

It wouldn't be a @Ticklishboy30 story without loving family, friendly tickles and conniving villains. We just got the lot

    Chapter 6

To me reading Blake’s mother’s letter as indicating she is aware of his sexuality is perfectly reasonably. The story is set in the latter years of the reign of George III and spans the Regency years. During those years there was an illegal and socially ostracised but active homosexual subculture. Sometimes we think of that time and into the Victorian era as one in which sex was not discussed and shunned. This doesn’t tie with the fertility rate for women (number of children they had) in the years of this story being just over five. (George III had 15 children) Like all societies and cultures people at this time indulged in and discussed sex. As hinted at by Pitt, families knew about gay relatives so it would not be unusual for a mother to suspect that her son was gay. She would also be aware of the dangers and the need to be subtle in disclosing what she suspected, just as the son would need to be careful about disclosing. Thank you @andy cannon for a powerfully written story.
  23. I loved this one: The assemblage of people was eclectic, and the only common thread seemed to be the open bar. I've attended events and functions exactly like that.

    Chapter 12

Sometimes it is difficult to choose between ❤️ for a comment and 😆. I've often wished for a "groan" emoji and there is also a need for a "I loved that joke" emoji. Let's start a campaign fed by organic slices.

    Chapter 12

Yes @chris191070, Nathan is helping Josh and so are the people in his support group. We still have to find out about Olivia's reaction.
