The glitch has been fixed and I've rewritten and posted my lost comment, and now all is tranquil. -
Thanks @chris191070 for this enjoyable story. I hope there are more to come as Priests do come across some interesting real life activities through confession. I do need to comment on a common misunderstanding. Celibate means not married and chaste (chastity) means not having sex. So, a vow of celibacy (Priests) is a vow not to marry and a vow of chastity (Nuns) is a vow not to have sex. I know that most RC's will point out that the Catholic church regards sex outside of marriage to be a sin , so a vow of celibacy implies chastity. Hmmm!

It seems my post has been lost in the server glitch. I agree that Jamie's secret is not so much about Jamie himself but about his family. I suspect that there is something about the family that Jamie wants to distance himself from. It could be criminal, notorious, bankruptcy or even fame. What if Jamie's family are famous musicians and Jamie is wanting to make his way musically on his own ability without relying on the family name. I'm sure time will tell. -

I still think using the name Thompson, with its association with that obnoxious family is a terrible idea. Even Randy Macquarie would be better! It has been said that "the way to a man's heart is through his stomach". Aaron has provided two picnics and a Chinese meal and now Tony is preparing an elegant meal for Aaron, with a few friends. Not all that necessary as they are already in each other's hearts.

@empath you have every right to feel pleased not just with the number of published words but particularly with the excellent quality of your writing and plots. Well done. You have reminded me I haven't yet read "These Truths we hold to be Self-Evident". I'll set about to correct that.

Walter III, is losing control and cracks are appearing in the planned murder he considered necessary but would not lead back to him. Damir is discovering he is not as invincible as he believed working as a hired killer while seeking revenge on the world. On the other side strength is growing in the CPD. Teyshawn is discovering that in being gay and loving Walter he has more support than he ever believed. Even Walter's mother doesn't seem fussed by Teyshawn's deep concern for Walter. I have to agree, another powerful chapter.

A casual feel good chapter. Simple things like a picnic showing Tony and Aaron moving closer and being more comfortable together. Tony is making it more obvious that he is not leaving Thompsonville again, well not without Aaron. A seafood dinner for six. What could go wrong?

Thank for commenting @pvtguy, more of this is happening in society that we realize. Daniel didn't recognize Joshua because he was concentrating on the surf board and reminiscing about Adam.

I agree with you regarding Daniel @Philippe and that the police need to have enough evidence to convict in court. You'll need to keep reading to find out what else is going to happen.

Daniel explained that he didn't recognize Joshua because he was concentrating on the surf board and the memories of Adam that flooded back. More on the police operation next chapter. I'm pleased you liked Jake and Nate. I enjoyed writing them in.
