This "trick" still creates a lot of excess html code that will increase page load times, conflict with CSS, and make further editing difficult, though it is a better choice than saving as html from Word. It's best to ask your tech what they prefer, if I had an author client I would want the word document rather than this form of html, but again, ask your tech person.
