  1. How about Driven Under by Seether? It's not pop, but it's very angsty. There's a song by the Smiths called How Soon is Now that's quite angsty as well. However, this is a rare situation where I prefer the cover, which is by a band called Love Spit Love. This song is the theme song from Charmed (which borrowed the song from the movie, The Craft). I'll add an actual pop song this time. It's called All The Things She Said by t.A.T.u. I can't mention angsty songs without mentioning a rock song from the early 90's that caused a revolution. It's called Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana.
  2. Now is a bad time to be wasting money. Here are some common rip-offs to avoid, according to this article.
  3. Gary Coleman from the sitcom, Different Strokes, died this afternoon.
  4. Happy birthday, Eric!
  5. He may not be normal, but I doubt it's that. I think a lot of it is that some of it pertains to his own childhood. Maybe Steven knew one of JP's secrets, and he's worried what others might think if/when Steven reveals it in the diary. Of course, one contraindication is that the diary is not missing. That, however, might be because he doesn't want to upset Stefan as this is the only connection he has with his father.
  6. I get it now. I thought you were saying that I was. I was blond when I was younger, so there are some residual effects.
  7. I've been around. I'm a forum lurker. Anyway, how is that off-topic? I was talking about the story, and how there are likely more threats. It was way too easy for them to get away, so I wouldn't be at all surprised if there are more enemies to deal with soon.
  8. That's just so wrong.
  9. When I heard about it, I was shocked. Slipknot is one of my favorite bands. Does anyone know how he died?
  10. His actual IQ is unknown, but it's not as low as some might think. I'm not fond of the man, but I think by underestimating his IQ, people are simply overlooking how dangerous he was. http://www.snopes.com/inboxer/hoaxes/presiq.asp
  11. Well, I figured I'd add a couple more form Naruto Shippuden. These are my favorite theme songs from the show. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ak8Rc381i9w http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pZ1yc6UMILc
  12. Happy birthday! It's hard to believe you're already 20. That means I've known you for almost 2 years now.
  13. Ironically, Bush's IQ is in that range, and he had powerful connections. I still think Obama is smarter though. Maybe he's in the 200 range
  14. Aaron is such an asshole. He was more or less rubbing it in Steven's face and lying to him at the same time. Hopefully, Steven will have better luck with Nathan.
  15. You're right about that. There's bound to be some enemies ahead. How many I'm not sure, but I know Granger and his crew can handle it!
  16. I've thought about it, but I've never actually tried it. For some reason, death isn't appealing to me.
  17. Happy birthday, Graeme! I hope you're having a good one.
  18. I like Shikamaru as well, Nephy! He'd probably be the 4th on my list.
  19. I've never read it. What's it all about? That will give me a clue of whether or not I want to read it.
  20. I'm not one to bitch about them. I simply inform. And oh how I miss George Granger and his adventures.
  21. Happy birthday, Mark.
  22. Happy birthday, Paul!
  23. That would be Orochimaru.
  24. It's funny. A lot of people have Sasake as a favorite, but I don't. He chose the wrong path, and to me it's a waste of his talent. Seeking revenge ultimately leads to ruin. He should know that. Unfortunately, he is now beyond redemption.
  25. I'll get right to it. My favorite protagonists are Naruto, Gaara, and Kakashi. I like Naruto because he never gives up. There's no doubt he will be the Sixth Hokage! He's awesome. Gaara is pretty awesome too. He sand abilities are amazing. He's also has a crazy side, which I absolutely love. He's also hot. Kakashi is a talented ninja, and he seems to be one who defies the odds. Kakashi was also responsible (along with Jiraiya) of keeping Naruto safe and helping him develop. They both have done an excellent job of this. Plus, the Chidori is freaking awesome. There's no doubt about that! My favorite villains are Deidara, Kakuzu, and Itachi. Deidara is a lot of fun as far as I'm concerned. He is quite skilled. Even though I disliked him for kidnapping Gaara, his who fascination with blowing shit up more than make up for it! Kakuzu is also one of my favorites, because he's understandable. We all have thought of killing people who piss us off. I felt sorry for him though. He had to put up with Hidan. (By the way, I love how Hidan was "incapacitated".) Kakuzu, more than anything, was terrifying, and what's not to love about a terrifying figure who collects hearts? That's pretty effing sweet in my book. Though his methods leave a lot to be desired, Itachi ultimately wanted to protect Konohagakure. I think the slaying of his clan was over-the-top, but he did it so that he could make a name for itself and seek the destruction of Akatsuki from the inside. My favorite fallen heroes are Jiraiya, Hiruzen Saratobi, and Minato Namikaze. Jiraiya, of course, is awesome! He's the pervy sage after all! He also protected Naruto at the risk of his own life and taught him many great things. Then there's Hiruzen Saratobi, who risked his life to save the village from Orochimaru, who is the character I always hated the most. He may have been old, but he was powerful, and he understood that the children were the king. Minato Namikaze made a difficult decision. He chose to instill a monster inside his son's body to protect the village. Even though that act was the cause of great pain for Naruto, it was the only way to stop the Nine-Tailed Fox Demon and protect the village from future threats. Naruto also carries with him his father's determination, and while Naruto's intelligence is downplayed, he also has his father's intelligence and skill as a ninja even if he doesn't always show it. I have leave favorite lists too, but it's too much effort. However, I can name the ones who come to mind. My least favorite villains are Orochimaru, and that whiny bitch, Sasake. As far as protagonists, I'm not fond of Kiba. He's an arrogant prick. I was glad when Naruto kicked his ass. Of the fallen heroes, I have no least favorite. They all died with honor.
