I've noticed that it is very common in anime for someone to say, "I won't forgive you!" I've been thinking about it. It must signify that forgiveness is a MAJOR issue in Japan as it's often the antagonists on the receiving end of those words. It's not something I would bother to say to one of the bad guys, and yet, it seems to be shocking in Japan. Can anyone explain the differences?

Maybe they had different standards back then. Losing a limb is usually ends a military career. I'd think there'd be a difference between being a navy officer and being a pirate.

However, this is a rare situation where I prefer the cover, which is by a band called Love Spit Love. This song is the theme song from Charmed (which borrowed the song from the movie, The Craft). I'll add an actual pop song this time. It's called All The Things She Said by t.A.T.u. I can't mention angsty songs without mentioning a rock song from the early 90's that caused a revolution.
