Well, if you are referring to those who murdered Matthew Shepard, I agree. Of course, it could also mean that there's danger in the future for the family from an unseen antagonist. There could be someone evil in their midst.

I love him actually. He is truly magnificent. It also looks like he shall be a captain very soon. This also seems most unusual. He is taking an American to Philadelphia in between the American Revolution and the War of 1812. One has to wonder if things will be civil or not.

I just read like all of it. I have been reading it for like the past two days. I have to say that I look for to reading even more in the future. I'm likely to soak it up. I loved how there was a build-up. It was like from the beginning you're looking forward to seeing the change being complete. Only now, it looks like the surface has barely been scratched. There's a WAR brewing or at least a potential one. Things could get bloody in a hurry.

Song invoke emotion. There's no doubt about that. A couple of songs come to mind that lift my spirits. Jordin Sparks "One Step at a Time" is a song that makes you stop and think. If I'm feeling down, it can bring a smile to my face. I would embed the song, but I think it's one that does not work that way. Another song that I really like that makes me happy is "The Sweet Escape" by Gwen Stefani.

It says I should be an atheist. It was right on target for me. And btw Lacey, get a black cat at a shelter, and then it will say you should be a pagan.

I definitely am open to giving flowers, that is if he likes them. I'm definitely open to receiving them.

Hehehe... that's part of the reason I chose this name for the topic. However, if we all just go on talking about this song instead of weather further... And btw Jack, 104 does happen in some parts of the world. It has been known to be that hot here. That's the record high in Houston actually. Also, the record high in Dallas is even hotter than that. Then again, the humidity is much worse there. I think someone said it's 90% in the summer... Houston is definitely not a summer spot for me. And Kevin, a hoodie in July? Yikes! I was feeling like I was about to die last summer. I'm so glad it's over. I'm so not used to the summers here, and yet, I'm already to the point where I think the 50's and 60's are a bit nippy.

I wonder if people around here understand me as I really am. I am a lot less inhibited here. In actuality I am more of a shy, standoffish person. I will talk to people but usually only when spoken to until I get used to someone. Then I am chatty. I am not one to be around crowds. All of the voices I hear make me feel uncomfortable. I guess most people don't really know me. I keep a lot of stuff about me bottled up... what I'm thinking and what I'm feeling. But when I'm online, it's like I'm a different person all together. I am more chatty and blatantly flirtatious. I am not really like that. I am too shy. That's just me. Still, I feel as if a lot of people don't like me, and it hurts. I like to think I'm a good person and that I'm very accepting of people. I have had an incident or two, and people seem to hold it against me. It makes me feel bad, because I always seek approval from others. I don't want to be hated, but I guess I'm just too difficult for most people to get along with. I just don't know if I belong here anymore or if I ever really did. I don't know if I should stay or if I should go. I wonder if I'd be missed, but I doubt I would be, much if at all.

Well, he hasn't had a chance to spend the night with me yet. Chapter 20 was good. I'm glad that the team, more or less, is okay with Matt's sexuality. It seems that the only two who didn't like it at all are off the team.

Well, some people are more comfortable at a given temperature than others. It's impossible to have a question for every range, but I did what I could. I was wondering how people would react to different temperatures. 72°F is comfortable. 10°F is bitterly cold. 100°F is too effing hot. 48°F is not too bad. 32°F is too effing cold.

Ummm... they don't even do that here.
