Yeah Chapter 26!!! Dom is so very good at writing foreplay!!! Didn't it feel like you were laying on the bed with Seth and Rory, smelling Seth's cinnamon breath, the light hairs on his legs tickling yours? Aaron(tls) did have to rear his head back into the picture. I'm with Tempus-Fugit. I can't wait to see how Gail reacts. I'm sure she'll have some choice things to say to Aaron, or maybe a bite? hehe. You know why Aaron keeps coming back? Cause he can't stand the fact that Rory dumped him, he likes being in charge and wants to make the decisions. Hi Matt, This is just my opinion and others have given better advice, but if your current faith, family, and /or friends can't accept the 'real' you, it might be time to find a new faith & some new family and/or friends. While I would love to be in that position, I am not on Dom's back about Lo(n)g. Anywhoo... I caught the same thing that Ann did (with Dan saying "I'm gay, are you?", it was too cute as it was). I had mixed feeling about TLW Ch1 v2. It's a similar feeling as to when they re-did Star Wars Episode 6. I probably spent more time looking for the changes, and I mistakenly thought he made changes when there were none. TLW is still my all time favorite Dom story with TLW Ch 1 still being my all time favorite chapter. I like the 'light' handed approaching...the fixing of the spelling and grammatical errors. I think it's a red herring by Luke. While he is 'annoyed' by Dave, the real 'issue' that was bumming him out his is his attraction to Rory and what appears to him as a budding relationship between Rory/Seth. However, Luke did spend some time with Angela at the bowling alley. He was greasing the Dave/Angela wheels, that's why he jetted over to Dave's. All IMHO of course. Hmm, I don't think Nate would be tall enough to give me a hug...you know him being 15 and all. He's probably only 3 ft tall . Ughhh, now I'm really confused... Rory doesn't like Seth. He likes that Seth likes him. But then that ending of Chap 25 , Rory having his best friend (being Luke). I'm soooo torn & confused. Dom has said in the past that he's laid down the plot lines in advance and that our commentary does not affect what he writes. Also if the commentary is starting to hit too close to home, he just avoids reading them. You'll note that Dom rarely jumps in to any conversation regarding a chapter or plot line. He keeps a nice safe distance from our musings. Discussion of characters and plot lines really grew out of discussion on TOU at our old yahoo group. Dom mentioned ahead of time that TOU was mostly written, so it felt 'safe' to discuss characters because there was no chance of us influencing his writing. 'Aggressive Commentary On Dom's Writing (ACODW)' has really seemed to explode recently with Desert Dropping. It's a little scary when a chapter has been out for only a couple days and we have 5 pages of comments. Take Care
