To be clear on the purpose of an authors note, it is used to update the readers on what is happening with the story, should it be going on hiatus or if posts will be slow. Occasionally (as it is with me) they are used to place up the translations so that people who don't understand the language knows what is said. It's also to give thanks to a writers beta/editor. Well, while both are good suggestions, there's a reason for both that I don't do either. 1) I dislike with a passion taking unfinished stories unless I know that they're not going anywhere. Then I'll telling those who are watching the story, via PM's and the such, why I'm taking it down so they're not left hanging. It's happened to me quite a bit and it leaves a bad taste and distrust of the author. 2) I've edited the German. 6 times so far. Using a couple of translations. I plan on calling a friend up and getting her opinion on it since she did take German for 5 years and was good with it. And it's not so much the review as the fact that someone can't take 10 seconds to read the nice bold, capitalized letters that says "German will be fixed at a later date so stop reviewing about it". That's what grates on my nerves. And if I sound like a bitch, I don't mean to but my speech patterns are a bit odd, or so my friends have told me and they kinda translate into what I write.

[rant]Now...as a reader: how many read an authors note? Even just a scan just in case? I know I do, just so I can see if they responded to my review or are going on hiatus or something of that nature. Now...as a writer: how many of you update past Authors notes when something in your chapter is fixed or you're tired of hearing about something about that chapter that is needing to stay the way it is? I do this, just so that people can know what's what. Now, I have a fanfiction called A Different Life where in the 4th chapter, that was posted in 2003 mind you, I have about 3 or 4 lines of German. I readily admitted that I didn't know any German beyond the occasionally word since I read a lot of Weiss Kruez (Means White Knight in German) and they have a German in the damn thing. I used a translation site. Since the, 2003 to present date, I have gotten no less then 10 different translations!! Even after writing that I used a translation site and that I don't know German, and I don't have a friend who knows German and I hadn't discovered this site before hand, so couldn't ask for help in the translation!! Okay, I'm fine really. So, I check my e-mail and I got another review. Clearly stated at the top of all my chapters now days is that I use a translation site and once finished I will revamp the story. Apparently this person (name withheld for various reasons) didn't get the memo. They said and I quote:

Okay, so, yesterday was my b-day. I got all squeal happy and what not since some of my all time fav Fan fiction authors wrote me b-day fics and a lot of people here and a few other places wished me happy birthday. Anyways, my ass has been planted in my seat due to my knee giving out as often as it can. Painful, let me tell you. Just kidding Oh, I'm feeling much better, especially since my knee planted my happy butt into my chair for the last two weeks. (I will blog about that in a bit). I miss you too and hope to catch up on the many stories that I read. So far, today has been the best in nearly a year. I'm hoping things are going to get better with the way today has been going.

AWWWW! You guys remembered. (though I think that's more of the fact that all b-days are posted on the bottom there). *laughs* I'm really sorry I haven't been on all that much but the fanfictions have nibbled and it's a nice way to practice my writing and fix my tense problems. My favorite Gay thing has to be Yaoi or Shonen-Ai (Boy's Love). My top two movies have to be Level C and Legend of the Blue Wolves, both with sex in them, but still a good plot. Then of course, manga and animes. Got a thing for Gravitation even though it's a bit...juvenial. Forgive the spelling.

Same here. Mind you, I have an Alexander, but it fits him and I can't imagine naming him anything else. But I also have a Lin, Li (female), Jin-Sing (female), Ri-Sou (male) and a Ki (male). It all depends on the character. Sometimes I'll find a name and create a character around that name. Yes, they are really odd names, but the characters aren't exactly human. It all depends on the author and the character.

It's not that surprising that he's already started to branch out into other things and that he's already done other movies. I heard about a few of them, but have no real urge to hunt them down. When I was growing up, for the most part, I wanted to be a forensic pathologist. I still do, but I doubt that I'll be able to do so, so I've switched to something a little easier, to a point. I've switched to history teacher.

Alright, some quick information on what's going on, what I'm working on and future plans. Let's start with the current and already written stuff first. The Campers Nightmare: My first horror story! I was so proud of this story and yet...not a single review. Pleanty of reads but no reviews. Makes me feel sad. I have been asked else where and by Beastie if I'm going to continue this story. It's a possiblity. I did leave the ending open so I can continue it if the urge strikes me. For now...a review would be nice. Rose Strailo's 100 Flash Stories: 25/100 written...Yeah...I've been a bad girl with this one. I'm so sorry! I just haven't had the urge to nibble a word or two into a good prompt. But, I'm getting back into it! I promise! Finding Someone: This one is my first ever anthology submission and can be also be found here. I was actually shocked when someone ASKED me (and then pouted at me when I said maybe) if I was going to continue this story... See above for the answer. But it's a possibility that I may write more on this one if someone asks nicely. Gums and Arguements: Cute, short, 500 words of nearly all dialogue....and no reviews. Anyways, this was my Gay Authors Summer Anthology submission and can be found here. Reviews are really nice, even though I know this one is another slightly dark one. A Butterfly's Dream: Prolouge plus chapter 7; 8 chapters total. Still going strong. Updated every 3 weeks and seems popular for some odd reason... Anyways, this story is my main project right now, and is my way of exploring of what I can write. Some romance, some angst, some spiritual sides, some death, ect. Future Projects: The Rich Boy Book Series: This series revolves around my two 'rich boys', Alexander and Lin. First is Alexander. He's my half human, half wood spirit who raids cult houses to get the treasures and artifacts. You'll see a starter story when the Fall Anthology comes on out. Book one: Dreams of the Past (working title) This is one that Beastie nearly salivated over when I told him about it. It's a set of interconnected stories with two different main characters, my crossdressing Alexander and my fav rp buddies character, Kaden, who I have permission to use for this story set. It will span the time periods of the Scots, to just after America was settled, to the 80's and up to the modern day. I think that's the only times...I'll have to take a look at my list again. There will be sexual situations. Book two: A Sticky Situation (working title) What happens when you take one half wood spirit, stuff him in a cryo chamber and wake him up about 3000 years after his time? One pissed off wood spirit that's what. But don't forget the fact that the gods and goddesses of old scattered to the four winds and played with other planets people, so you now have a race of Nagas, a race of people with ears and tails of various species on various planets, and a few other races...Kicking the asses of idiot gods and goddess aside, Alexander is going to need massive amounts of asprin to create treaties between the Earth and all these races. Will contain sexual situations. Dreamcatcher (tentative title) One of Lins one shots. Will be part of the Winter Anthology submissions, I hope. Quick edit: Songs Talk To Me Series: This includes my 2008 Falls submission. These are a series of stories that are inspired by songs that I enjoy and talk to me in a way. So far, I've used 'Hallelujah' by Rufus Wainwright. Will be using Rhianna's 'Disturbia' next. They won't all be placed under this tag, but will rather be labeled with it under an Authors Note, so please read them carefully. The Hunters: Ghosts, beasts of mythical porportions...love and lust... It's Lins first book with his cousin Lian, a sweet half elf who is a submissive. They have a team of hunters, they go after ghosts and other such creatures, making sure that they aren't hurting the human portion of things. Not only do they go after such creatures, they go to places with sad histories. First place: Roenoak (spelling?). After that...a college campus somewhere...haven't decided yet. For now, that's all. If you have a question, ask me.

If anything, shut the door, lock it, while making sure you have your drink of choice, pull out the cd/tape/mp3 player (whatever) and ignore the world. It takes time and practice, but very effective. I do it all the time, though, not with the door closed. Room gets to hot to do that.

*coos at the cuteness* Okay, now that I've done my girly thing... Hallmark has hit on a gold mine for them. It's because of the fact that more and more gay couples are doing the marriage thing, semi or not. It's so wrong...really to promote love and companion ship, really it is. The guy is an IDIOT who is backwards in his thinking. I'm still so surprised when I find people like this being able to speak at all...no matter how mean that sounds, it's true.

I love the song personally. It's not really played all that often on the radio where I live, but then again, most of the stations are more mexican themed then anything. but it's a cute song meant to make you giggle and blush at the thought. It doesn't promote being a lesbian, and it's not trying to turn people gay. It's funny and I rather like the singer. She has a good future in the business.
