    There will always be those who take advantage. For many of them it's the only way of life they know. They've been taken advantage of so much that it almost seems normal to them. I hope your mom recovers soon. I had a bad bout of pneumonia a couple of months ago that took over a month to recover from. Make sure she listens to her doctors and does everything they tell her to do. Especially respiratory therapy.

    I don't hate you for that. I long ago suggested that Instinct was merely a sub-plot to the main event: Scar's nuclear ambitions, and that eventually Instinct would be disposable. One only has to look at the prologue to realize that Scar will be the ultimate focus of the story. There was no mention made at all of Instinct in the prologue. Having said that, I have to give the goat the benefit of the doubt for now only because he is known for his deception and misdirection. We don't absolutely know for certain that anyone is dead, just that apparently everyone has been shot or knifed.

    We both work on that story so of course I remember what happened at the beginning of the chapter. You were only injured then. This is slightly more serious.

    Aw Kev. We're gonna have to come up with a recipe that you can enjoy without violating your dietary preferences. I wonder if the Goat Flower is edible? They look remarkably like goat testicles. I suppose two of them topping a salad would be an acceptable alternative to actual goat meat.

    It does seem like it'll be awesome. If you still want to go when the date rolls around let me know and I'll make sure you can attend. If it's in the summer I'll be bringing my son with me and the two of you can share a room with two beds.

    Yeah Jack. You probably have a concave chest while Benji is all buff and sexy. Oh, if only he weren't married I'd jump his bones so fast he wouldn't know what happened, but he'd have a huge smile on his face. I still think NYC is the best bet.
