The cruise was good, but as I relayed recently to a good friend, there was an entirely different class of people on a 3-day cruise as opposed to 1-week cruise. It was disturbing that I found myself turning into JJ. I actually did encounter one of my favorite t-shirts though. The message said: "Surely not everyone was Kung Fu Fighting." 🤣

“Breakfast is ready,” Celeste said in her calm, professional voice. She was the flight attendant for our trek to Boston today and was probably my least favorite of those who served that function on Stef’s planes. Her body was smoking hot, but her demeanor was very formal in a way that was polite but cold. There wasn’t a single part of her that emitted joy, not even the slightest b

I ignored the scenery as the limo whisked me towards downtown Claremont. I had no desire to look at this place that was nothing more than a backwater, a place I would much rather fly over than drive through. What a beautiful post. Thanks for your comments on my character building.
I sense that when you talk about Michael, you have a feeling of fond memories laced with sadness, but the memories are the stronger of those forces. 💕 I'm glad that the story could spark that in you. I count that as a major success.
Thank you! I think my writing improved as I wrote more books. My two favorite books in this saga are "HMS Belvidera" and "Odyssey". If you read them in order, it's probably better, but something to look forward too.

As soon as Will left the room, I started crying, not because I was sad that he was mad at me, but because I was furious that he’d assaulted me. Not only that, he’d hit me in the face, and while it hurt, I was more concerned about how I’d look. I’d probably have a black eye. I’d look ridiculous. My next engagement was on Tuesday: I’d show up and people would think I’d been mugged
