    Chapter 4

I'm glad you like it so far. Bit of a slower paced start than some, but I promise I'll make up for it. :-)

    Chapter 4

I think Granger probably felt like you did about the Abbey, but no time to linger.
  3. If your ears are virgins, that's the only thing.
  4. Holding onto men usually isn't a problem for Granger.
  5. Assume that's not the only issue.
  6. Well, the election is almost upon us. I think Wade needs to go home to be with his father, don't you? You'll have to just hang in there, knowing that eventually I'll solve that mystery.

    Chapter 38

Kudos for a great callback. Hadn't thought of him in a while. I don't think he's quite that bad, but I see what you mean.

    Chapter 38

I'm glad you liked it. Dialog can be really fun to write.

    Or maybe there's another link?

    Chapter 38

Yeah. I've known those people too. :-(

    Chapter 38

October 20, 2000 Santa Cruz, CA Wade “You’re probably tired,” I told Will as we walked along the beach. It was late afternoon, and he’d finished dealing with Brad, Robbie, and Stef, and had asked me to go for a walk with him. “I could say the same thing about you,” he said, referring to my night with Hot Jeff, and making me blush. “Dude, you fucked your cab driver, a stranger,” I said, tossing it back at him. “What the fuck?” “I know,” he said, and hung his hea

    Chapter 37

Thanks Kye. I think that whether Robbie ends up on on guild trip will largely depend on how Will handles things.

    Chapter 37

Is it vain to cry when you read your own chapters? I liked this one, but I think I liked 36 better. Not sure.

    Chapter 37

I'm so glad you liked it. People are fallible. I find that in stories, it makes me feel good to forgive them.

    Chapter 37

LOL. I'm glad you could visualize yourself in that conversation.

    Chapter 37

    Thanks Kevin, and you're welcome.

    Chapter 37

    Yeah. He really is lovable.

It's like a good massage. ;-) Re: The End: No.

    Chapter 37

He can be a little stubborn (not unlike his partner), and like I said a few reviews ago, he is very influenced by his emotions. Paternity is a way off from the end. There's some more stuff I have to do still.

    Chapter 37

There's just a few more strings to tie up, then I'll unravel some more. ;-)

    Chapter 37

Thank you. I think that healing can be done quickly when there's a lot of love, and there's good communication.

    Chapter 37

I think Robbie can be seriously blinded by his emotions. They are his strength and his weakness.
  23. I'm sorry about that. The only thing that changed was the font for Will's portion. I did that for two reasons. I switched it to "Georgia" so it would be consistent, and because that font looks way better on my iPhone. Thanks Tim. This has been a really busy time. I'd been posting a chapter every 4 days, and then I'd been every other day (pretty much) for a bit while we got through Will's crisis.

    Chapter 37

October 20, 2000 Santa Cruz, CA Wade The rest of us disembarked from the helicopter at a more leisurely pace and walked over to the house. We went out onto the deck and watched as Brad paddled out to where Will was. They didn’t really seem to say much, but then we saw the reason, as a huge wave appeared. We watched in awe as father and son mastered the wave, taming it with their boards, until they were both finally thrashed in the surf. Now they were both ashore, and Will w
