He can be a little stubborn (not unlike his partner), and like I said a few reviews ago, he is very influenced by his emotions. Paternity is a way off from the end. There's some more stuff I have to do still.
I'm sorry about that. The only thing that changed was the font for Will's portion. I did that for two reasons. I switched it to "Georgia" so it would be consistent, and because that font looks way better on my iPhone.
Thanks Tim. This has been a really busy time. I'd been posting a chapter every 4 days, and then I'd been every other day (pretty much) for a bit while we got through Will's crisis.

The rest of us disembarked from the helicopter at a more leisurely pace and walked over to the house. We went out onto the deck and watched as Brad paddled out to where Will was. They didn’t really seem to say much, but then we saw the reason, as a huge wave appeared. We watched in awe as father and son mastered the wave, taming it with their boards, until they were both finally thrashed in the surf.
Now they were both ashore, and Will w
I'm hoping it's a fun adventure. George has certainly come a long way so far.
I think the reason that the Wilcox clan targets George is because they can. Their power is generally concentrated in the navy. Bertie will be more immune to it.

Just like the characters can learn (see previous review), so too can the author learn. I discovered early on that if a character was going to suffer, it had to be for a reason. Gratuitous pain only works in S&M scenes. :-)
I think all of these characters have learned from their mistakes, more or less. That doesn't mean that their core personalities can't come through and still cause them problems. I'm so glad you liked the chapter. I think writing the happy endings are always a lot of fun, whether it's to a story, or just a chapter.
You're pretty astute.
I figured you'd like the father-son surf scene. I've been chuckling about that, since I wrote it before you said anything, and I thought it was cool that someone suggested it.
I agree with you, and thanks for "the perfect 10". I think they still have a way to go to work it out, but the basic desire is now there on both sides.
Thanks. You like Jeff, eh? We'll see how that works out. ;-)
Granger's on a weekly posting schedule for now. Expect that to continue. There could be a few rocky times in the near future, though.
