You're OK? How bad is the 300?
I've rented a couple of Fords over the past 6 months and I've been really impressed with how far they've come. I really liked the new Taurus SEL and the Edge SEL. I had a 2010 Explorer (the old body style) that was alright, but showed how much better the new Fords are than the old ones. Still, it had the new version of Sync, and that's pretty cool.
I can see where they may come off as being snobbish, but the vignette in the bathroom was meant to be kind, not demeaning.
It's probably inevitable that when you have people from such different worlds, a bit of snobbery would be assumed, even if it isn't real. On the other hand, none of our normal gang has been negative about Wally being poor, or blue-collar. They seem to just accept it as it is.
I like the analogy with Huckleberry Finn. I think that looking at things like that (books, music, etc.) gives us interesting insights into where we were as a society. I remember when I started writing "Chronicles of an Academic Predator," I had to make a decision on whether to use period language (it starts in 1962) or be politically correct. Do I use the 60's version of African-American: coloured or negro? In the end, I did, because I thought it was kind of cool to see how far we've come as a society.
I was listening to this song about a week ago and when the word "faggot" popped up, it kind of shocked me, even though I've heard the song a lot.
I think to some degree this is political correctness run amok. This song was meant to express the frustrations that blue-collar workers were feeling during that era when the rust belt was starting to rust, and union jobs were being slashed like crazy. If it was meant to be derogatory to gay people, why did he think the "little faggot" got his chicks for free?

“So who’s your father?” Robbie asked Gathan as soon as we’d settled into the limo.
“Fred Hayes,” he said disgustedly. “He conceived me on one of the rare occasions when he wasn’t in jail.”
“How old are you?” I asked.
“Past the age of consent,” he said, flirting with me. I laughed.
“Sorry, I’m taken. You’ll have to hit on the older guys,” I joked back.
“I am not aware of any older guys in this limousine,” Stef said, irritated at my
That's because I posted them but didn't publish them yet. I wanted to get them up on the system and tweak them there. This is my first time playing around with that part of the system. They'll be hitting over the next week.
Well, you find out more about him in the next chapter. Gathan is 17, a high school senior, and a bright guy.
Think about it this way. Robbie and the cousins who raped him (Fred, Wally, etc.) are of the same generation. They are first cousins.
Gathan is the son of one of those cousins, so he'd be a contemporary of Darius, Will, or JJ.
I know what it is, but thanks. There are some interesting videos on x-tube...wow. Most of those show guys doing it to themselves. I guess what I was looking for was someone who's actually done it so they could tell me what it felt like so I could describe it.
You know, I'm kind of feeling that too, the part about sex. That's why you'll notice it's gotten a lot less descriptive in the past few chapters...except the love den. I'm thinking a sling would be a lot of fun, so that was worth writing about.
I'm still looking for someone who can tell me what e-stim is like. Maybe I'll write that in eventually.
I don't see the conflict that you anticipate. That doesn't really sound much like Matt. I think he'd be more likely to be intrigued at having this younger relative, more like a little brother, since he was an only child.
In the story, we only learn about JP having sex with Sam. Here it's implied that Stef did too.

“This is pretty cool,” Robbie said as we stood in the bondage room. He seemed a little uncomfortable, as if this was pushing our boundaries a little too far, too fast.
“It is,” I said. I went up and wrapped my arms around him and kissed him affectionately. “Just because there’s a machine with electrodes in here, and whips and chains, doesn’t mean we have to use them.”
“It might be fun,” he said, grinning at me.
“It might be. You know what I wan
I like this pic of Tom Hardy, when he was young and unbearded.
I think of Jeff Hayes as having a football player/"boy next door" look, with dirty blond hair.

“You want to come down and eat breakfast with me?” Robbie asked me. He was showered and dressed, eager for another day at the office, while I was enjoying a leisurely morning.
I lay there, looking at him, the inertia overwhelming me, convincing me that I should stay in bed and be a slug. Then my stomach growled, and the high-pitched whirring of a power tool reverberated through the room. Robbie snaughed at me. “Alright, let’s go,” I said fatalisticall
Confession time: It wasn't my scary imagination, that came from one of my team members. And no, it wasn't Jeremy.
Well, it's ironic that you should mention that. The person who drafted the original love den description suggested that they have a slave there to keep things clean and attend to anything else Brad and Robbie may want. That didn't really seem like something they'd want. Now when Stef does one for himself, maybe then....
