I read chaptered and non-chaptered stories, although I prefer stories that are not too long. I always write non-chaptered stories. I only cut a story into chapters after it's finished. I think uploading chapters of a long story is more convenient for the reader.
Random (A Dadaist Poem) by Dolores Esteban
Author’s note: Dadaism or Dada is a cultural movement in visual art as well as literature, theatre and graphic design. Its purpose was to ridicule what its participants considered to be the meaninglessness of the modern world. I was curious right from the start and I'd like to know what Mikie will find. I just fear that he will be disappointed. Thanks for sharing. I did like it.
I liked the pace of the story. And I loved the image of the rain. A beautifully told story. I liked the happy ending. I feared throughout the story the mysterious guy was just some random guy taking advantage of Alex.
It took a while, but finally the story drew me in. I'd like to read more about the 'angels' who are actually aliens. Where did they come from, why did they come here? Interesting theme.
I really liked the first part of the story. Very vivid descriptions. The ending was bit 'mundane'', compared to the 'glittering' beginning. But that's just me, probably. Nice story.
We either do not really notice or we want to know the true reasons behind a situation. We want to know where it all leads to. But all we do is glimpse at somebody's life from our own perspective. Life does not provide reasons and it does not give 100% answers. We feel disappointed then. We would not feel this way if we left things as they are. Your story is a glimpse. And it feels right to leave it at that. Since such is life.
I liked it. I wrote a glimpse, too. I currently feel unable to write a all wrapped up story. I feel restricted by this target.
Sorry you could not relate to the story. Well, yes, I did not explain everything and I left questions. But actually I intended to write it that way. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment anyway.
