Oh NOM at all the sandwiches. Glad I'm not the only one fighting for the increased recognition of such amazing things. Unfortunately the sandwiches I've found so far in Japan aren't amazing (The other day I saw fried noodle sandwich. Would have been awesome if it was just made but cold = probs no) A deli is definately needed, in the mean time I'll settle for Pastrami, Salami, Ham with Cheese and some Mustard Mayo from the subway 20 minutes away. Or just chicken nugget sandwich. NOM As for wraps...they're a whole different topic I could talk about for at least 9 years.

Sandwiches are an issue that is close to my heart. Sandwiches are very important and without them, life is empty. Therefore I would like to know what your favourite sandwich is? Mines probably, ham and turkey with lettuce, dash of honey mustard sauce and some black pepper. Just had tuna cheese melt and it genuinely made my day/life. I hope you take this topic 104% seriously and don't trivialise the importance of sandwiches for youths today. *goes to make another sandwich*

Pfff you already know what I'm up to. I'm in Japan, preparing for the impending zombie invasion and trying hard not to fall in the squat toilet. And now I'm listening to the JCB song. Memories. *shoots zombie*

Anyone got spotify? It's pretty cool as it has vast amounts of songs and you can make playlists and share them with friends etc. Downside, outside of europe it's not free. My friend sent me an 8 and a half hour playlist on it and I just finished it. Awesome.

Said it elsewhere but Happy Birthday! Hope your day was filled with tea and top hats.

Just my thoughts on it: I speak from going through something very similar with my older brother. I personally think cannabis affects different people in different ways and although many users of it defend it, I know many who have said they were fine until they started smoking it and then their behaviour and personality changed to someone much darker. Fine during the actual smoking of it as like people mentioned, you aren't violent when you smoke it, but the day after they'd be moody and irritable and downright strange. After a few years, it really seemed to affect that person. Personally I think this happpened to my brother. Our relationship seemed to be similar to yours, it wasn't great and a few times we had full blown arguments and fights that lead to him leaving the house for a while. Realising I was going to Japan and not going to see him for a year I thought it best to talk about it. And so we managed to convince him to come back for a short talk, we said "each person gets 20 minutes to say what they want, what they think and no interrupting". It kinda worked. There was a lot of awkwardness, a lot of stuff nobody wanted to hear coming out. He talked a lot about how I made him feel, and I spoke in turn for how I felt he made home a hard place to be. But in the end as the summer went on, we managed to keep making an effort to talk and as much as my relationship with my brother will never be the best, i can now happily say for the first time in years its a positive one (for now). I know it's hard to actually start something like that but maybe your parents can initiate it. I think my mum just went for the simple "You know we all need to talk don't you?" in the parent kind of way. It's uncomfortable but there's no way the relationship will get better, nor will anything change for your brother unless you go back to the beginning and see how it began to deteriorate. Oh and make sure you don't ever use any language like "you have a problem", "you changed" etc. Every sentence needs to start with "For me," "Personally" "I'm not saying you mean to act like this but I find you..." etc. Please let me know how, if anything happens, it goes. This is a topic that I find hits very close to home.

I'm right handed but as a child I used my left hand ocasionally and I use my left hand for things that I should use my right hand for like opening bottles :S My hair swirls clockwise except I'm sure it swirled counter-clockwise when I was younger :S I'm freaky in that on one hand my index finger is longer and on the other hand the ring finger is longer :S And I'm the 2nd born out of 3 so right in the middle :S What the hell?! I think that means I'm 50/50.... It's true!

I'm not fluent in anything unfortunately but at the moment I'm in japan studying (shock) japanese. Aside from that I know the basics in a few european languages; french, german and italian. I used to know lots of french however have forgotten most of it due to lack of practice. I think if I were to look at a textbook for a couple hours it'd all come back to me. I'd love to know fluently: Japanese (obviously), French, Various Sign Languages, Spanish, Italian, Mandarin Chinese, German. Not asking too much there am I? I think the one thing that would be a benefit of an international forum would be an outlet for those studying langauges to practice them however like most people said, it's probably not in high demand.

A question for Bisexuals; would you date someone who was gay?
tomon replied to C James's topic in The Lounge
Agreed! I was going to say, if it was completely unavoidable, I wouldn't even ask somebody's sexuality before, during or after dating them. It's just not really relevant to me. Work on having a good relationship, not depriving yourself of one because of who a person may or may not feel attracted to. A girl came out to me as "not-straight" in a conversation the other day, kind of stopping herself mid-way and realising she'd gone too far and just finished her sentence. I just carried on talking as though she said something like "can we not go to pizza hut? i don't really like cheese". Because in my head I guess that's the way I see it. -
Never really a boyzone fan but obviously it's sad when anyone dies, especially so young. However I felt sick reading some stupid, uninformed woman's article on his death: Read it here As a self professed "gay rights champion" she sure knows how to stick the knife in. Thankfully the ever awesome Charlie Brooker posted his response to the article: Read it here And respect to him and thoughts go out to his husband, family and friends.

Oprah runs the world She does awesome stuff like that for the main reason - she doesn't have to.

Irish accents win at life. I could listen to someone speak in an Irish accent about something as interesting as moss all day.

All eps are on hulu.com or www.watchglee.com so you can catch up if you've missed any

"Finn I needed to ask you something?" "Thanks, but I already have a date to the prom. But I'm flattered, I know how important dances are to teen gays." "...I'm not gay" Love that. Anyways this week's episode was ok but missed a lot of the lines that usually make it great mainly because the story was focused on Christine Chenoweth's guest spot. Nice song at the end though I miss it when it was just the original 6 gleeks.

Mine was just getting good when I moved country. In Japan fashion is popular, 95% of guys around my age I'd say are metrosexual. Guys fashion magazines are popular, clothes, hair etc. So that took that one down. Plus hardly anyone comes out in japan. I've heard it's more likely for gay guys to just get married and then occasionally go to a gay bar Though don't quote me on that. As for back in england, mine used to be TERRIBLE and it was maybe 50/50 before I left. I am one of those guilty of drunken "No you can tell! He has 'GAY FACE!'" comments While hilairious at the time, it's actually rather harsh and not something to shout loudly.

Woo many gleeks now. Is it bad that whenever I think of TV now I'm like "only a few more days till glee is on " ? There isn't really anything great on japanese tv except the ocasional ninja warrior special. Kurt is win. I wish I could do a little dance then kick like that and be on the football team for it. Also Mercedes' "I bust the windows in your car" song makes me think of a few people I know They have diva moments like that and if you replace car with me, and windows with....me then you get the idea

Someone said would i be sharing the tales of me being a big failure in japan, somewhere so i thought, well...do i really want to post my youtube...but why not i spose. I am so not good at this country I'm starting to be able to speak japanese to people a bit more after the first few weeks of replying with "eh?" so that's a bonus. And I'm off to Tokyo Game Show to be a big geek later If anyone wants to subscribe to my youtube, that'd be cool since it looks like I'm really uncool at the moment (I am really uncool but I don't want youtube to think that of me...)

It's not so popular in england but because I watched my first superbowl while cheering them on at 4am, Giants.
