  1. That be Cape Horn ... i remember the name from a game called "Around the Horn" sail clipper ships from east coast to SF bay. Yes its windy down there ... watch out for iceburgs but that wasn't in the game. Late Spring time sounds fine - but when seasons change so does the weather patterns ... I presume early summer is fine. Compared to Trevor it was Summer and he decides to go the other way. -- http://www.absoluteastronomy.com/topics/Cape_Horn Cape Horn is the most southerly point of South America South AmericaSouth America is the southern continent of the Americas, situated in the Western Hemisphere and mostly in the Southern Hemisphere, with a relatively small portion in the Northern Hemisphere... , and marks the northern boundary of the Drake Passage Drake PassageThe Drake Passage or Mar de Hoces -Sea of "de Hoces"- is the body of water between the southern tip of South America at Cape Horn, Chile and the South Shetland Islands of Antarctica... ; for many years it was a major milestone on the clipper route Clipper routeIn sailing, the clipper route was the traditional route sailed by clipper ships between Europe and the Far East, Australia and New Zealand. 2. So she must have discovered that the cartel and bridget was using her. She must have discovered the bomb and should have discovered the hidden compartment by now? I guess she was smart enough like trev to shut her transponder off or disguise it. The good question does dirk have any knowledge to all this? So after christmas ... dirk going to fly to austrailia and join his wife there ... leave trevor to make his decision to live in the usa. Let Joel and Lisa run the chanlery and charting company. But that be too dangerous as the cartel would be after Trevor - the only thing is Trevor promising to not search for ares and be convincing to Bridget But hey unless his friends like to go live in austraila with trevor and run two charters so many directions this story can take Maybe Rachel would not want Trev to tell his dad about his mother being alive but ask him to forgive his father. Then Trevor will catch up for another 10 years with his mother but will she accept him being gay? What if Trevor finds a cute gay guy in Austraila from governor Graeme?
  3. ok so there is a prequel to Circumnav ... Cocoon 3 ... Ron Howard will CJames to write this one Wow that's some evidence by Trebs Sure hope with the cloud of investigation will keep sanchez away ... unless he has ties to somila then the convoy is a risk Now I wonder if CJames will let Trevor sail naked? and be on the cover of I-Sail-Naked-for-Joel-or-give-me-a-swedish-meatball
  4. flaws-of-perfection-family-poems wasn't it a poem?
  5. happy belated birthday
  6. So where did all that money go? Dirk gambling or dug debt?
  7. I would question if she's alive * She gave the mayday * Someone towed the wreckage to some island * If she survived thats a long haul to austraila by hitch hiking * Trevor never check Visa records in austrailia or any other countries If Trevor does find his mother and its december and the truth is out but between the good guys where would Trevor live? Will he choose to grill shrimp on the barbie and run charters in austrailia? Would he leave his two friends? Would his father survive all this? She be under a new name in austrialia that means a fake passport or new identity passport given by the USA ---- est 200 miles per day convoy 100 per day ?? End of Suez to Socotra - 2300 miles est - 11.5 Days => 23 Days Socotra to Seychelles - 1100 miles est - 5.5 Days => 11 Days Seychelles to Austrailia - 3300 miles est - 16.5 Days Total 6700 miles est - 32.5 Days with Convoy 51 days Sept 1 Week + 8 Weeks => 1st Week November at best Worst => 13 Weeks => 2nd Week of December - - - - Gosh it would have been cool if Ghassan didn't dump the stuff and go kaaboom!! Then there be two bodies and wreckage and life jackets "altantis" Then there be a baksheesh backlash and investigation but now we only got robbery and dumping of stuff and small delay Trevor doesn't seem phased that he could have been blown up sounds like the authorities aren't going to hold Trevor but they will eventually find the life jackets Would wonder when Sanchez will try again? unless he has connections with somila? Then it be a long convoy issue Then will he give up after seychelles - thats 1/2 the voyage battle there.
  8. I knew some one would steal it if the point of the story was Trevor circuminavigation I do hate the theives - banshish quota?? to keep their jobs sounds very organized for rip off - trevor lucky they didn't rob him of his clothes - but he would sail naked!! The other yaughters wouldn't mind seeing eye candy Hey its like 1400 miles out of the gulf of suzez add 100 extra pass that island off of somolia then its straigh down to schecklies then 3500 miles to austraila Its like the same distance in the atlantic crossing. so in theory he's be there in like six weeks? plus lay over so make that in two months He'll be there in Nov for early for Turkey day thats if he doesn't get slowed down and just make it there in Dec and then demand the truth from his father and will his father fly to austraila to tell him the truth in person or over the phone so gonzales can record the conversation
  9. he could be a salt water froggy ... so fresh water would send him hopping
  10. No CJ - Trevor can't ask the OxyClean Man to clean the bomb No Infomercial the bomb on a 1-888-Get-The-Bomb-Off-My-Boat
  11. Well Trevor can ripe the antenna cool it with ice water and then put the tank in the freezer and then throw it over board shoot it when pirates come ------- Or he can wait for McGyver to come
  12. Thanks but too bad ... unless more bad guys come in because of oprah
  13. So the phone is tap and no good guy ever going to know about it. They look at ultimately of Trevor still gonna do what he's gonna do and they don't see that if he gets his answers then maybe he won't go poking around the bermuda. So looks like trevor will go boom 8am unless our favorite pilot comes back to steal gas. Hey can't Trev have a gas leak and then opps pick up the bad can and then say whats this and then throw the bomb overboard and shoots it or it blows up anyway or maybe it will be like the ending is JAWS
  14. Kaboom was the former principal - but wasn't there a rigging of jan house to blow up so she was caught but it doesn't mean than Jan house won't blow and thats left to see who innocently gets hurt so the reader perceives to wait for or overlooked

    Merlin

Some got a crush on Merlin or Arthur?
  16. who said Trevor locked his gas tank cabinet? Someone please steal all his gas tanks!! Like you think Trevor will cook during his voyage? I wonder if those tanks float in the ocean? So that he could use them against the pirates by shooting them. Its funny that Trevor never thought that these guys won't take anything that's not nailed down. Also its a pity that he did stock up ciggies by 50% Trevor never notice the body odor of his Pilot?? What kind a gay guy is he? Trevor too straight - he doesn't seem to check out any guys after Joel Now Trevor needs those moving pictures frames so he can flash up a naked Joel or a naked Swed pics from his cell, - - - - I wonder if Joel is flashing nude pics of Trevor at Lisa?
  17. Well - I was visiting a Vietnamese family ... they were having soft boil eggs Sounds nothing new right should be with the 101 things right Wrong!! These were fertilized eggs there was chick in my egg!! 2/3 ready to hatch They say all you do is swallow it whole... I lost my appetite for soft boil eggs ... at least cooked by Vietnamese so this is #102
  18. Raising kids some where safe and nice is one thing - but do you intend to work far away and then visit the kids on holidays and weekends. I am not sure what suitable employment are there in these safe havens. Do you think your kids when they reach 18 - will wanna visit the big cities? Maybe its best not to subscribe to Cable or satellite - that what they will stay in safe places. Do you think they will have survival skills in 1 million population?
  19. Well I hope you will look into the diet and exercise solutions to keep the risk very low. I hope the test was accurate.
  20. - - - - - - when-your-parents-are-horrible-life Excerpt Unfortunately, involvement with these kinds of parents is traumatic, especially when we are children. Research shows that prolonged childhood trauma can be toxic to the brain, e.g., prolonged stress can kill cells in the hippocampus, a brain area critical for memory. Having horrible parents may be harmful to our brain, not just hurt our feelings.
  21. Just be aware of the schools - they may say they are good but if the place is boring for your kid and secretly there is drugs in the schools then that's not place to raise a kid if the kids there got nothing better to do then get into things - bad things drugs, drinking, smoking ... etc - no ethics or morality Sounds like inner city kids in big city sometimes there is a hidden picture that must be uncovered - I live in NYC limits - nothing to do - city life no good - then again it was sort suburbs manhattan - would be too much a bad thing vs good thing - unless your upscale rich - private schools and stuff
  22. Does any one think Tyler will make it to austraila - or really does he need to? Maybe a serious accident is enough to make dirk tell the truth and the cartel to expose themselves
  23. Nice catch!! I still debate if Mufid would know the difference between fiberglass and carbon fiber making sounds
