  1. Happy Birthday!!! So is Matt Jamie Conner Max Li Hayley etc etc all invited!!! Better make sure they all pair up properly!!!
  2. Nice that you mention that. I was just watching the last episode of Enterprise. Giving way to future to other star trek by calling it "These are the voyages..." rather than be a tv series that got cut off in the middle of a run. Look at SGA - rather weird last episode. SGU seems to be the last hope of the Star Gate series. Really if it doesn't pick up in the couple of episodes it will be the first of the SG series to fail next to SGA. What made SGA a partial success is because it still had roots to it SG home base and subject to its system of government. Now breaking those ties - to govern their own destiny amongst the heavens against new bad guys and find new alies along the way. Sounds much like TOS BG, NS BG, and Voyager. I hope that the series would break those weak links too of Cylons or Federation. It will take a lot to show to have it build itself off its own . We're assuming that they will stay on that ship for however long until they can't repair it. If they have to abandon it then it may give way to survive and find a way back to earth. Would the series survive if the really look to their own survival - make a home of their own. Show us what is possible where they choose to settle building a new place for Humanity in the universe. Far away from the ori or the ga uui ?? or the wraith But still face new bad guys. Hey thats entertainment ... No bad guys - no one watches the shows. Not sure if they can suvive against vampire shows!! They should have kept SGA - they had vampires audience share.
  3. The show format seems to copy Galactica. The flow being disjointed. Not sure if they will keep me as a fan??? That scientist seems to be power hungry and anti-social mmmm another doctor smith???

    New guy; new job?

I've been hired once by such ADT co, they didn't say it was door-to-door sales. It seems to be 100% commission. They have a fifteen sales per month quota. You have to do a training class thats during a Th Fri Sat Sun of which you will have to do a practice sale on several people who will listen to your sales pitch. Its up to you if you're into sales. If you not sell anything you make nothing - but then you not meet your quota ...
  5. Like what wasteful machine does this future thing? Work? 2 min 17 into the future. Sounds like it makes "Seven Days" back into the past a better TV series. Its doesn't sound very pro-active.
  6. Its about a 15 yo boy named Dolf Vega who lost his team the chance to go for the Junior Football European Cup. He decides to go back to relive that event by using his mother's companies prototype Time Machine. He accidents lands himself in the year 1212. The movie was made in 2006. I missed this movie even though the usa release was in 2007 (dvd). ( Found it by accident and learn it was very popular in europe. They even made a musical stage play of it. ) Its best to watch the european version because the american version cuts a half hour off the film. I believe it has english and dutch or other language. Most of the actors are UK so it was done in english. My first thinking in reading the short summary. Another King Arthur Kid in CT type movie. But really it wasn't about that kind of Kingdom. It was about the peaceful crusade led by children that tried to achieve something that the adults had failure in serving god in the 13th century. To understand the actual story, below is http://en.wikipedia....ren%27s_Crusade http://www.historygu...t/children.html http://www.fordham.e.../1212pueri.html http://www.historyle...ens_crusade.htm The actual debate is that did it really involved children or really just the mid-teens children. The other issues involve that some children are in their own form of slavery and yet the father of Nicolas was involved in selling some of the children into slavery for the furthering of the cause. The evils to justify the cause of spreading Christianity. Well then comes in Dolf Vega bringing in 21st Century Ideals and coming of age into the year 1212. Risking his life and donating his efforts to the caring for the survival of the children but unknowing being used as a pawn by Nicolas father. Crusade in Jeans wasn't about kings and queens or the dukes or the Robbin hoods. Its about the suffering in the middle ages especially the children. Making a journey for a cause of certain death without the aid of medicine, survial training, the luxury of food. My new internet friend said yeah it was a time that needed religion but really now a days you don't need religion. Religion then really causes a lot of trouble. To me its like another faction like royalty and feudalism trying to survive those hard times and to rule the world in the name of god. But until we give up ruling the world or really ruining the world maybe then we would not need religion. I told my friend we'll always need religion. Many people aren't science types. Some need social guidence. So really religion is its own kind of social networking group. Reminds many of us about the caring of others. Would we really care about people if religion wasn;t around? But because of Dolf. many of the caused learned about survial and other things. The movie ends but never really shows us making it all the way to Jerusalem. One would wonder what if the Children's Crusade be successful. How would that change history? Well not enough to not return back to 2005. The actor "Johnny Flynn" (the star of the movie Dolf Vega) is actually a folk singer and shakespeare type actor. The funny thing is he's 23 and yet to play the part of the 15 yo. Like can't you find actual dutch 15 yo football players that look 23 yo?? His folk singing brings back the style of music that's been ignored for years since popular music came about. Telling stories in music much like chauser and yeats etc ... Because of his unique upbringing into music and acting he won the part of this film. The story is by Thea Beckman a dutch children and teenage book writer of the 70s You could call her the JK Rowling of her time but it wasn't centered around Wizards.
  7. If this was europe I bet that something being very common would not be such a big deal. So here its a big deal ... its not common - the same goes with whats on TV - its pretty much PG13 - europe its rated R or rather rated N But I can't say if the USA had European qualities what would it be like here?

  9. Are they all male goats??
  10. I take that public school still reads them or you can always goto barnes and noble but is it truely a fat chance to read these books in front of a nun or priest and not get hit by a ruler or a fist? of course if you do get hit - nice law suit
  11. I did a lot of reading about him too - sometime last year. But one blessing came out ... there is the passing of hate crime legislation this year. Did you check his brothers blog? There are two movies on Mathew. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0267736/ http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0257850/ I was pondering about adding something of mathew in my story. I just had not have the chance to work on it. I did draft up a good part for the story but it sits in the drawer for now.

  13. It seems that instincts career hasn't died as Helen feared. Nice to see Jane has moved on and picked the right man of action rather than a dull life. Found a typo not "say in the Marines" but "stay" an easy typo for a grammar checker one would assume rather a spell checker. oh it would have been cute to have that graeme paragraph in there. Nice scare for George. Nice to put everyone in a blissful life. Excellant Closure for Eric Amazed with how many couples formed thats a wow. You left JON out in the cold - I wonder if you realized that? Poor poor JON Book 3 - Something for JON ( maybe in the Stripper Club?? ) A cliffhanger for Jon. We can only assume the best for him. As long as instinct is ok - Helen and Barb are OK Hey is the Club in LA area or SF area? I take it that the rumble from god in CA is just part of life. Thanks for pointing out how the misunderstood Jerry lays. I can only assume LUMP is the only one of the CLUMPS that changing the family legacy.
  14. I take it that there are a few interpretations to the Topic or description * Finding your religion that has as many "friendly" flavors in your state (which does imply stay away from the orthodox religions - hey they all say we're not going to heaven because we're not in the special club thats for kings, queens, pure blood) * The hard part to have the belief is when some one from the so call less watered down religion speaks down of your beliefs. Its really the ignorance of people to speak their mind off thats not really what god had in mind. * Its maybe obvious if we made our own religion someone would again say many hurtful things like * Tax Evasion * SB Loan * Cough up money to keep us in business * God didn't write your bible * Focus group for being exploited * where's your pastor licence etc etc I guess the original wish was - more like an x-file quote "you're not alone" and we will pool ideas to find your friendly place or hope you get the idea to start your own. Man is a few thousand years old and really we've still haven't conquered bigotry, unfairness, hunger, etc etc We still haven't learn to be selfless in caring, loving, helping, etc But if we're just harboring a simple belief shared by many and to help anyone without bigotry or prejudice and to teach good ethics and education etc etc - its at least a start in the right direction. But if its just to escape emptyness and lonelyness then thats only a fix for the day.

if osx wasn't so hooked to propritarty hardware - it would have given windows the run for their money. also it would have given people a chance to try another polish os but maybe jobs is keep to a secret agreement to MS like stay off our turrfff
  23. Hey that ending for Jerry is just like Harrison Fords Air Force One!! (Gen Graeme going to hound CJ on the wanted list.) It would have been nice if Jerry landed in the volcano. But to be left to die in the jungle - well alive enought for animals to eat him be just as fitting as hell. I hope CJ has a fitting memoral for Jim and Linda So I presume its going to be how their getting home and off the hook with Graeme Finish the album and Eric proving to us he's changed lanes like marriage or opening his strippers club. Hopefully the epilog isn't short and the last two chapters is very very very long just to prove a trilogy isn't there.
