card does have comic books, lol but i wonder how much of his anti-lbgt beliefs are in his works I also wonder if avatar2 n 3 will carry camerons beliefs or not? I hear that hard core syfy is hard to make into movies ie: What do you think of Syfy RiverWorld?

I loved it too The issue with the Narnia series is the fate of the original kids we saw in the first movie Perhaps Disney should make an interpretation of the series or try to understand what the author had in mind but its fascinating initial concept that would make a good TV series but the audience needs to get used to the characters changing I guess we have to wait for fans to cry for another Narnia movie or tv series

Remember the premise of the movie where significant number of the men in the loop failed to do their jobs. So Dabney Coleman pulls out the WOPR to save Berengers Ass... So what do we call this Wargames 3? LOL It makes me remember a ditty from my fair lady "l'm gettin' married in the mornin'" "Ding dong, the bells are gonna chime" "Pull out the stopper Let's have a WOPR" "But get me to the church on time"

Will Intel Haswell chips bring the desktop power to the tablets?
hh5 replied to hh5's topic in The Lounge
Found out that haswell will be the last processor of its kind Haswell => broadwell => skylake => Skymont 22nm .. => 14nm..... => 14nm .. => 11nm 2013 .. => 2014..... => 2015 .. => 2016 by 2016 desktop chips will be lower power and running faster but those chips won't be socketed ... they will be soldered to the motherboard Intel Atom processor next revision Silvermont, a smaller architecture promises to double the cpu n GPU performance Win8 tablets will be blazing fast and much cheaper in price to take on the smaller tablets I still look forward for Skymont ... I wonder how much power it will take to run it and how much of a performance gain its three years down the line and the industry going to get even more competitive -
I keep that in mind when I will soon take a look at the comic books and audiobooks lol, so you're saying one movie is good enough, lol

yeah looks like ... around 1900-1901 ... towards the end 1900: A year of disasters gosh some of them were of muslim decent you might like the movie "55 Days in Peking"

mmm Ninja Turtles, lol ... who needs Samuri Turtles I wonder if ever the Samurai ever tried to disband the ninja's after feudal times? perhaps not, since power and money has always been an evil ,,, the practice lives on lol, china has their own ninjas ... they put up a good battle against the americans in the 1800s lol, aren't ninja like the special forces we have in our military? I doubt we ever would stop having them unless peace prevails and we return back to a time where it was just ninjas that be boring ... and thats why we love star wars so much ... the galaxy is always corrupt, lol

oh here we go again apple fighting healthy free market competition rather than continue on with product innovation hopefully such proceeding will be stalled until next year so we can see how many people prefer samsung this year gosh isn't it excessive to a CFO 69million in salary? i wonder what the next highest earns?

are we very dependent on pollination to create a food supply? aren't there plants that provide food that doesn't require pollination? -

Discounting the gay population ... there are straight couple's that adopt too ... not sure about single parent adoptions but our people fight against allowing gays to adopt ... thats laws we need to change to preserve our species as well as laws we need to prevent abuse to adopted children the russians disallowed adoption out of their country ... they feel that it affects the russian population as well as claiming how inhumane americans are to russian children We're 7 to 8 billion on this planet, we combat the desert creeping which claims our fertile lands at an alarming rate which affects our food supply and climate ... there's argument that there is too many people on earth to feed ... we're cutting too much of our forest that provides O2 We combat the human effect of encouraging the desert creeping effect as well ie: in china there is the wool industry ... the farmers let the goats eat the surrounding plant life near the desert ... goats eat much more than the grass they eat all the way to the roots ... with a lot of farmers doing this practice the chinese gov't realized how much desert creeping the farmers are introducing ... since then the gov't has put regulation into effect to curb this practice ie: in america we had the dust bowl .... we had to change our farming practices its a debate out there on whether earth is overpopulated or not ... or that we're not farming enough or iwe've cut down too much of the forests Our own global economics where prices are high ... also affect our family planning as gov't cut social programs that aid reproduction that is another factor to curbing our population in comparison to the chinese gov't who has laws on how many children you can give birth to or be fined for going above the allowed limits -

Collecting should not be a bad thing ... it'll take us years to study the DNA to determine if we can clone or not It might be the act of cloning ... but something for us to think about what if we had to clone an animal or plant that just went extinct to prevent a domino effect on a particular food chain? would we not make such an exception? ex: What if global warming made the bees go extinct and we humans realize that we had to drastically change our greenhouse gas policy after some time we brought atmosphere conditions back favorable for the bees ... we clone back the bees and re-plant the vegetation Would we not make an exception to cloning? -
you're being argumentative to the thread author .. that's not the purpose of the thread save personal arguments and attacks for soap box It seems you're pro-Microsoft ... so are you calling Job's and Page's user's frustrated? You got your costing numbers inverted Your inferring that gates meant business ... he may not be ... that's where your making an assumption sure gates stated he has strong roots in business but apple n android proved they can shake his world sure every business has their stake in the economy but people are realizing its not for very long He just making the case that the world needs Office and Windows in defence to Apple and Google or anyone else He's also making the case that MSFT won't be going away any time soon I guess we're all glad he's not screaming scroogled!! If gates had his way he make linux, vmware, apple disappear but he won't because he doesn't want the Feds label his company a monopoly so he invested in Apple to make peace. (We both know that Apple can buy MSFT very easily but that's not job's vision.) His tactics is to keep his enemies closer rather than to kill them off that way he can avoid a federal lawsuit. Sure EU and Korea and Japan has an issue with MSFT ... but so far they haven't changed to Linux or something else yet. People do have choices like the Bluetooth keyboard so typing isn't an issue We don't have to argue connectivity because there are choices available. As stated above ipads does have Apple Pages and Keynote so they can make documents Android has their open source and they can make documents If or when Haswell chips changes the game on ARM based tablets It may mean a game changer for the tablet industry in terms of bringing desktop power to the tablets at the price of ARM. Intel intends to keep selling chips and its not exclusively to MSFT It be interesting to find out if Haswell would change Apple's mind about changing processors again. They had MC68K and then the IBM powerpc ... will they dump Intel even if Haswell is a success? Apple can buy Intel ... its a better investment than google owning Motorola. Gates didn't say everyone has to be compatible with each other He just making his case in front of warren buffet in hopes he will be a MSFT fan or an investor gates also knows buffet has not invested in Apple but its best to make the case that MSFT is the better choice in front of warren. PS ... everyone can subscribe to Office 365 on their pcs, macs, and tablets so gates scroogled himself where he could have promoted a product solution for all platforms and hardware rather than insult them so this is why this is Tablet WARS!!

yeah butterfly had a growth spurt and I bet they had to resort to camera tricks like in LOTR why not make it a two parter? we're use to it ... even a three parter ... jackson teaching us to get use to it with the hobbit do a hatchet job of the book and the fans will be upset with today's filming technology and proper planning its possible to do the Ender's Series and be 85% true they could make butterfly look six years old by making him a computer character like in advatar there's a lot of things you can do when you have a blockbuster budget gosh it sounds like their wasting the 110million dollar budget by doing it wrong It hurts the project when their digital effects company goes bankrupt it hurts when the series has a LGBT demographics problem I don't know if they resolved that issue of the card's story? but this won't be the first syfy film that had this issue ie: Cameron's Avatar its upsetting when Disney gave up on Narnia series ... the concept leaves it open to even a tv series if Ender's game was made into a TV or cartoon series .... would that be better than films? any way in the Wizard of OZ .. Dorothy suppose to be 10yrs old we put up with Judy and played a long with the story but a ten yr old couldn't sing like Judy Aren't we glad we had Judy or would Temple have done a better job?

great theory There are species that may have a weird thing about them but I doubt you can breed out imperfections nor breed in perfections without losing them .. ie: Rabbits ... they breed like crazy ... one would think in they overcome their surroundings and eat themselves out of existance but they happen to have their predators to keep their numbers down Humans can breed like crazy ... we don't seem to have a predator ... but hey there are some that don't breed ... and maybe perhaps our numbers don't go out of control ... but another thing we're our own worst enemy ... we kill each other ... and still there are too many humans on the planet vs the wild animals. If the dinosaurs weren't extinct ... we have our predators that will keep out numbers down ... but let say the numbers were reduced to the gay ones ... I bet the for survival of the species we'd overcome our inability to not breed ... lol, Jurassic park ... "Life will find a way" But a good question ... should man be de-extincting past animals? someone will hunt them down any way... -
Listening to Harrison delivery ... I prefer Liam Neeson ... he'll make you feel different

the argument seems to be needs protection from MAN I do wonder if any species was made extinct by another species? (and since they only eat a particular species, they went extinct, joke) -
that was coool!! but I think on the second drop he didn't release it the same way at least this gives some expectations when he does this test with the cheap plastic iphone lol, he needs to add one more test ... accidently dropping the phone from the balcony or dropping the phone on the train platform during rush hour where people will step on the phone or the getting caught in the swinging doors Do Phones still break even in rubber casings? I known of a metal wallet casing that's indestructible but I think it will interfere with reception

Will there be a trilogy? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ender%27s_Game_series ( prequel, postquel, etc)

Your argument for cost effectiveness doesn't work ... the makers know to charge for portability as apple sets the example and MSFT follow suits (tablets costs as much as laptops and has less computing power) Samsung challenging Apple at charging higher or equal prices but who blinks first in a year => s-discount

Is bill gates your tablet god?? lol?? or is he dissing non window users who can't type that don't need to type too much nor make documents?

Would recording your thoughts, ideas, or attempts of a chapter help if typing is not doable without meds?
