    mmm iPhones are not so indestructible??? does the gorilla glass break or is it the non glass parts breaking? what will happen to the cheaper iphones made of plastic shell break on the first drop?

    iPad losing ground to android this is an interesting year for tablets as products mature in-spite of patent disputes in prior years

    I think on the table top the phone can be recharged just like the cooking elements ... no cords Nice to use the table tops ... but walls, windows, doors can be used as well Outside Windows can be solar cells while indoor can be display

    gosh imagine all computing replaced with Haswell the electric bill will go down and the computing power will go up the tablets will run for days other uses of the technology could be applied to make other products smarter of course we're still far away from the Terminator universe, lol perhaps companies will not be so fast to drop Intel while intel is lucky that cyber espionage hasn't stolen their secrets https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qMujmUonqk So a year from now ... could we be holding a tablet with more than the power of current day desktops?

    Remember the Minority Report Computer used by Tom Cruise back in 2002 it looks like we're getting there 11 years later Many things can be made from gorilla glass technology ... electrically tinting a window, a see through display, solar cell window panes, ... to encasing a phone to make it indestructible and scratch resistant Corning has come a long way ... perhaps soon we'll have a computer system similar to what we see in syfy

    Roomers about a cheaper ipad mini to be released in the summer the retina display version is delayed until October it sounds like the richer market is saturated so now its time to get into the cheaper markets perhaps this is how to put out two releases a year amazon, Samsung, bnn may need to gear up for some competition
