Hmm, I've never watched ice hockey just because it's not popular here so isn't on tv, but I doubt the violence would put me off...doesn't it get distracting though? I mean, I like to watch boxing which is by its very nature violent, but that's the point of it, the point of Hockey's not violence as far as I can gather...just wondered if it was distracting?

Lol, I've not named my computer but I have named my ipod (jeremy) and my plants are called Obi-Wan (my bf chose that name) and the other one's called Jeffery II (Jeffery I died ) Are you thinking of naming it after someone famous or just a random name? Also, I'm very interested to hear the long story, lol.

I hate that too!! And depending on my mood and who says it I sometimes can't stop myself from commenting on it. Ooh, you know what else annoys me? When people say 'I would of...' It's not of, it's have!! 'I would have done something, but a monster ate my brain' grrr. Oooh, and when people say that someone asked for something 'pacific' no, I think you'll find they wanted something 'specific' not something ocean related...*ahem* I'll stop.

I think for the most part here in England they'd be called Fizzy drinks if you were being generic, but mostly you'd just refer to the name. My dad's family do on occasion call it pop, but that's looked down upon by more snobby types here.

Lol, does it really do that? hehehe, that made me laugh a lot, like you'd be sitting around at 3am wondering if you had any new calls. I hate when you're watching a movie with someone and they keep asking what's going to happen, gah, if you watch the movie you'll find out!!

Fortunately most of the people I know are pretty far north of London, but my bf has some friends down there. I called him when he was on his lunch break at work to tell him what had happened, he's really concerned but I have the numbers of a few people he knows there so have been trying to contact them. I'm totally stunned by this, but as sumbloke said, it could have been a lot lot worse, I'm thanking whatever force out there stopped this from being complete and utter devestation. As for people claiming it, Al Qaeda have apparently stepped forward and said it's there doing. It's just so f**king stupid, what do they hope to gain from killing innocent people?? I'm so sad and annoyed right now, I'm not going to post anymore since I'll just end up ranting. -

Lol, no none of my flip flops have flowers on. I have so many because they're what I like to wear the most, and they're cheap and people have bought some of them for me. I'm now down to 31 pairs because during the process of moving I decided that there were 3 pairs that I don't wear much any more so they're gone.

Lol, well my bf's been to other places that I haven't and we've not had sex there...oh it's all very confusing. I'll put it this way, he and I have had sex in 7 different countries I think Lol, not quite, we went to Niagra Falls and were going to go to the Canadian side, but when I got there they said that because I had a special kinda visa they couldn't really let me in so we had to turn around and come back.

Hmm, well, I've only had sex with an American and of course my bf who's British, but we've had sex in 7 of the 10 places I've visited, does that count?

The most I've paid...hmmm, well I've got quite a few that cost me between $100-140 but the ones that are worth the most are a pair of Ferragamo dress shoes that should have been about $500-600 I think, but I got them in an awesome sale so paid less than $100 for them

So, having discussed this several times recently, I was wonder about everyone's opinions on shoes. Now, I admit, I have quite a few pairs of shoes...34 to be exact. But, 10 of those are flip flops, so that's only 24, of which, 4 pairs are boots, and 8 pairs are dress shoes, then I have 4 pairs of nice sandal/flipflops leaving 8 pairs of tennis shoes/sneakers/trainers/whatever you call them. So really, I don't think that's obsessive or excessive. Anyhoo, I suggested that someone on GA must have more shoes than I do, so I was wondering if anyone does? I would make a poll but I'm not sure how...A ha, I made a poll, so yes, please vote, and if your vote is over 25 pairs then please post how many you have Thank you.

I'm suprised by the number of places on that list where being gay is, like you said Myr, illegal...very interesting. For more info of the top 30 places, as well as Saudi Arabia, gayness is also illegal in: 8. Singapore 19. India 21. Kuwait 23. United Arab Emirates 26. Brunei Darassalam And apparently Indonesia has no laws about it...

I hate that too!!! I just turned 20 a couple of months ago and now find that I should weigh 7lbs less Oh, and Vic, I'm just about to PM you, so yeah, check that.

Hmm, I think this lack of vision thing is being passed around. I don't wear glasses or contacts or anything, but my vision in my right eye has been really weird since about 8.30 this evening (3hours ago), it feels like I've looked at a really bright light and then looked away, I have the same weird blotches in my vision...not really sure what that's all about, but its really rather distracting.
