lol - the kidnapping was quite a surprise to me too. It wasn't what I had in mind when I started writing the chapter- classic example of the characters and storyline taking over.

Yes, you were right again. You're right about the NZ link - more to come. The 'haha' part at the start of the ceremony is mostly known the 'All Blacks' tradition. - Check it on You-Tube.

Thanks Daithi,Yes, it's a ceremony full of beauty and power. It's the New Zealand Maori welcoming ceremony. As Sandrewn has surmised in his review I have linked Freedom with 'The Land Of The Long White Cloud'.

    Part 26.

ATTUNGA Part 26. Wirrin settled on the grav-sofa and stared at the amazing sight on the wall display. “Where is that?” “You don't recognise it? Well, I'm not surprised as it rarely looks like this. It's Gnardune Pool in the throes of a twenty year flood, with the biggest water flow for a long time.” The amazing sight, of a rushing red torrent swirling past partially submerged trees, suddenly became even more amazing. The placid pool of clear, sparkling water, in Wirrin's memory was replaced
  6. Maybe it's something about hell, otherwise I'm clueless on this one.

ATTUNGA Part 25. Wirrin gazed at their big display wall and smiled at the sight of the dolphin pod cruising by. No, two pods. A quick zoom showed they weren't Puck's. Because their living space was so close to the dolphinarium which was center for all the dolphin and marine activities on Warrakan, there were almost always pods to be seen, visiting for various reasons. Currently there were more than usual because of whatever it was Sonic was organising. Calen was out there somewhere with him. I
  10. Sorry to hear this WL. Treasure all the good things he has given you. They are with you for the rest of your life.
  11. Hmm. There is a bit of an atmosphere of Charles De Lint or Mercedes Lackey but the 'F... you' doesn't fit so I'll have to pass on this one.
  12. Your turn again Red_A - since you flummoxed us.

ATTUNGA Part 24. *** The doctor's partner was a dark haired lady with a brilliant smile which had won the trio over in very short order. At the moment the smile was obliterated by laughter as she joined with Thom, Calen and the three children in a splashing war against Sonic, who didn't have a hope against such formidable opponents. Well, that's what the two younger ones were thinking. Miro,The thirteen year old was pretty clever and most probably realised they were all being treated very gent

    Part 1.

Dolphins have , rightly or wrongly, long been associated with high intelligence. Not too long before I started the story I had the dolphin encounter experience provided at Monkey Mia in the north of Western Australia so there was a personal element to their inclusion.
  20. Well, it looks like cave paintings to me. Probably wrongly, a flavor of American Indians comes through to me. Otherwise I'm quite clueless.
  21. Sorry - I can't resist this. - the first wolves to howl at the supermoon?
  22. Yikes! This is getting harder with more clues. I had to search to come up with Martin Behaim but that doesn't tie in with the latest clue about features. lol - Edison was another tongue in cheek guess. Nothing to do with the 'importance' part of the clue but referring to his development of light 'globes'/bulbs.
  23. Lol - blame it on me!! but - to follow in a similar vein (shades of dracula) The man who refuted Flat Earth.? Montgolfier?
