There is a glitch with Opera as regards GA. When I went to post something in eFiction all went well until I had a look at the final result. Somewhere, the code went tits up and all ' were replaced with ;;7 , go figure. Had to switch to IE to clean up the mess.

I'm about half way through this one now and I have to say it's an amazing serial so far. 1968 was a little depressing [but very well written], but The Land Whore and BE RAD more than make up for it. Catching up slowly. Kudos Mark.

Whilst I'm quite partial to a good ghost movie etc, I think the whole thing is total nonsense. I guess seeing is believing, and as I haven't seen....I don't believe. My ex used to love watching this program on Living TV called Most Haunted, where they would go to 'haunted' houses and the like. The funniest would be when the clairvoyant was possessed by spirits [JD or vodka I think] and do all the juddering movements. I have to ask this, but why would you want more than 12 tabs open at any one time? Those tabs get real small and you can't see what's on them. Maybe it would be easier to open more than 1 browser screen!

That would depend on what activities you would get up to with said best friend in jail.... I can think of a few!

The difficulty comes when you're actually in a situation; I think these rules go out the window in the heat of the moment. Besides, I think it's healthy to have a good yell now and again...or maybe I'm just weird!

Agreed, most of the holes etc are gone and it seems to run like a dream. Win 7 when it comes out is only slightly quicker.

What I have noticed with some sites, yahoo mail for instance. Opera will only run classic mail rather than the new version. Maybe it's just a glitch that'll be fixed, but it's annoying as hell. The new Beta 10 is a huge improvement though, especially as it now has the spell check.

The Others with Nicole Kidman. Not exactly a horror film, but was very well done. I never guessed 'til almost the end!

Anathem by Neal Stephenson. It's one of those that you have to stick with, but it's well worth it.
