I'm happy that I didnt stay up late. Though the continued anxiety due to yet to be delivered chapter must have the villagers ready to storm the goat's cliffside dwelling with pitchforks and torches...

Sort of disappointed for Will and his personal swedish experience only to be followed by the one sided action with Shane. At least he had Jeff to make his evening a rewarding one... Teenage hormones and Prozac (Jeannine's medication?) don't mix well do they?

A chapter full of surprises which is always fun to have! Up to this point I don't think we've ever seen an obstacle that Granger wasn't able to overcome with relative ease. It will be interesting to see how the problem plays out not just in this story segment, but perhaps in later segments... Thanks as usual Mark!

Is it next Monday yet? So Bridget once again proves to be a master strategist. I wonder though if now, with presumably one of her major goals fulfilled, if she will get a bit over confident? I say one of her major goals as she must surely lust after Jefe's position, though admittedly it would take her some time to pull that off... Her self satisfaction and over confidence must surely lead to her eventual downfall??? Thanks CJ & team! -

Perhaps I'm reading too much doom and gloom into the parting sentiments of Beau and Wade...seems like its really tempting fate and she-devil Ms Danfield... I hope Mark that you have a great summer vacation - thank you for continuing to write, even if it is at a reduced pace!

Interesting to see Will's realization and new perspective on Stef's shopping and what was really being given... Slick move by the headmaster but one that failed, Will and Ryan are lucky to have gotten over their initial dislike of each other and now really have layed the ground work what I lope is a long term friendship... Thanks Mark! ;-p

Thank you DaddyDavek for giving the subtle reminder of whose sister Chitsworth's brother beat up...I was really confused as to why that seemed to be tossed in from left field. I guess reading too many stories at one time does that - at least to me! LOL Thanks Mark!

At last - one of the bad guys gets a bit of what's due him! When Trev appeared to be going into flashback mode I was afraid then that he would freeze...thankfully he didn't and let all of his anger and frustration over what he's gone through, channel into quick thinking and subtle action. All of which enabled them to get their man. I have to admit the bloodthirsty side of me was wanting the sharks to get B'stoke just as he was about to get back into K'burra... Oh well... Tanks CJ and team! -
Great ending with a question for which we will never know the answer. The only way way out of this mystery would be if somehow the pregnancy doesn't come to full term with a surviving child... Would our author do such a thing?

This chapter caught me totally by surprise. Unless John & Alex missed their flight, there appears to be no way out of the sad situation...

I wonder what got Matt uptight? Maybe he did sense that "Hot Jeff" had his sights set on capturing Wade all for himself? Looks like Wade & Tiffany have gotten over their 1st serious hurdle since working out their complex situation... After the intense action of that last several chapters, this one felt like a "catch your breath" easy chapter... Thanks Mark & Team!

It's been fun reading Paternity since I've gone back to the beginning and re-read earlier books. Having a fresh picture in my mind of the younger Brad & Robbie and their interactions with other family members of that generation puts a little bit of a different perspective on the interactions of characters in this one... And Tony...I hope Mark gives more insight into his evolution in being more at ease with Will after they've been together. Darius and Will - hmmnnn...is this the natural change in sibling relationships or the start of something more ominous? Thanks Mark!

As usual, another finely written chapter. Knowing our author's nod to historical accuracy, I presume this "mutiny" did indeed occur. I suspect that Lord Granger will have a deft hand involved bringing this crisis to a conclusion where most everybody wins... Thanks to Mark and his dedicated compatriots that give us these great stories!
