I was wondering how George would get through this and his father seems to have helped him reason through and find a solution that will save everyone from disaster. Now he has to execute the plan which is the hard part! i'm looking forward to the next chapters and the weaving of the intrigue which hopefully should mask the entire situation… And of course, to see George safely off to sea! Thank you Mark & team Arbour!

Another very nice chapter… Thank you for the background on where the house came from as I was a bit concerned it was an inconsistent story element. Now we know where that huge house from so there is no longer a distraction for me...
-
I can't add much to what the others have said except it is clear that the author likely had a lot of fun creating the link between the great two stories, managing to surprise and delight his readers at the same time - Bravo Mark and team!

I have to agree with Headstall's comment about something somebody getting in trouble at the party… everything is going way too good… LOL! Since I can't come up with a likely pair who will get into trouble at the party, I guess I will just have to wait-and-see like everybody else – what does Mr. Arbour have up his sleeve? Tony & Wade??? Likely not, that is too far out in left field... thank you thank you thank you…

Always fun when the hand grenades start getting tossed around - lots of great dialogue and action between the opposing camps! Fun too watching the parties on the sidelines trying to avoid becoming collateral damage... Thanks Mark and team!

I have enjoyed how this story has progressed though I must say, that the house, staff, and grounds indicates a wealthy family. Reading the preceding chapters I had no indication that this was their status… I don't quite know what to think of this in the scheme of the overall story. I guess we'll have to see how things play out…

A nice chapter tightly focused on just a few characters even though others were mentioned. Clearly there were important honest exchanges between Matt, Will and Cam, though I think of them, the most important was between Cam and Matt. I had the sense that because of the emotional trauma Cam went through coming out, combined with tough financial conditions, that he hadn't emotionally matured. Matt challenged him and made him reflect and assess his feelings, and come to grips with where he is in life and what he probably needs to do to grow into his next stage of maturity and personal relationships. IMHO... Bravo to Mark and team!

Another great chapter and everything about the different scenes, players and dialog was perfect. And the closing lines were beyond classic… Huge grins!

... And here I thought since everything was going so well, and we were all feeling so good and happy, that Brenda Hayes might actually embrace her grandson. What was I thinking? LOL! There are many wonderful things about this chapter but I really enjoyed Brent having restore the Cadillac and then getting to "see" Will, watch Brad, and realize that Brad indeed is ready to move on... Thank you Mark and Team!

Agree with what the others have written... We continue to see the healing and reinforced bonding as evidenced by the rings. Now that Brad has made his amends with Cody and Cody has in turn revealed his current status with Alex, one has to wonder: Will we see a return of a character from Brad's past, or will it be someone new to catch his interest and full re-entry into life and over time, love? Shall we start an informal pool on any of the following: - how many more chapters before Mark turn the screws on some character's happiness? - how many chapters will it take before Brad seriously gets caught up into a relationship? - if Brad re engages with an existing character, with whom will it be? Thanks Mark and team for yet another great chapter in this ongoing epic family story!

I have been anxiously awaiting this chapter since the cliffhanger ending last week. It didn't disappoint and didn't totally satisfy me, though it certainly set the stage for more action to come later in the city of Chicago. The sales of Anders–Hayes went off as expected and then the dedication of the Robert Hayes Memorial Stadium in Clermont was a nice touch, adding another layer of healing closure. The destruction of the old high school and the locker room was another nice symbol, and speaking of symbols – I wonder when Brad will share that he has recovered Robbie's rings? The surprise in Claremont was not quite what I expected, I had quite frankly expected maybe Robbie's "lost" niece & nephew to suddenly show up. I was surprised instead by the appearance Wade and Cody. Goodness knows there is plenty of time in the storyline for those lost relatives to suddenly appear and need help… Will Matt share with Wade his discovery of Cam while relating their past history? I wonder how Wade will react to that? Happy closing scene between Brad and Cody to begin narrowing the wide gap that Brad seemingly had to create as part of his healing process. Thank you Mark and Team Arbour!

I think I've set it somewhere else before another review but, another bolt out of the blue – Cam Heely? This is really going to be interesting… Matt's new business partner is connected to his first, how to characterize this - first crush/attraction? Combine that with Josh's somewhat attitude about his relationship status with his partner and I sense a rekindling of the flame. What does that mean for the bar? Having these players in such close proximity and combined with the business relationship, makes for an explosive cocktail! I want the next chapter, now! HUGE stomp of foot! Mr. Arbor is toying with us again - couldn't he have at least given us Cam's facial reaction???

Still missing CJ very much and I for one am looking forward to the resumption of his writing! Let's hope that his absence doesn't go on too much further lest his cloven hooves fuse together, and that it begins to hamper his ability to write exciting cliff edge dramas! Hope all has been well with you CJ, and that you do return to writing soon for your legions of devoted fans…

The phone call to Verriand is troubling… Let us hope that Frank is smart enough not to be drawn out alone by the monster. Could it even be possible that somehow Sasha was taken from the hospital despite the security? I guess we'll find out in a few days… Until then?

Well the healing just keeps going on, which is a very nice thing. It was a lot of fun seeing the confusion at the table in Escorial for those that were not up to speed on the latest developments – LOL! A very interesting dialogue between Zack and Brad. It bodes well though there is no guarantee for the future and how things will begin top layout... I wonder what exciting times Matt, Stef and Will can get up to while in Chicago? Apartment hunting by day and ??? by night. I'm sure there will not be any pole dancing at strip clubs, nor busts by police at restaurant/nightclubs where under age drinking takes place… Been there, done that. So what does that leave in the Windy City? and lastly, a very surprising scene in New York – that was for bolt out of the blue. There was no mention of Jeannine and Hank's rings, even though I know this ceremony had not yet taken place and I don't recall any other mention of them in the storyline as aftermath to 9/11. I think the dialogue about not discussing the particulars of how they were found was the right way to go, even though I wondered, as I'm sure did/will many other readers. Clearly, it was better not to know… Thank you Mark and team!

Another really intense chapter with outcomes that makes everything seem to be so much better. In fact, if this keeps occurring soon there will be no drama left in the family – LOL! As if... Thank you Mark and team Arbour for this outstanding chapter!

Well I am glad there is more to the story than just two chapters. When I saw the story marked as complete I was really disappointed. I'm guessing that was just an error since we have a third chapter and hopefully many more to come. Thank you Nephylim for posting the story and keeping it going!

I have always loved the good detail and interaction between the characters in the story and thank Don very much for giving it to us – my only comment would be I wish the chapters would come more frequently. Again, thank you Don!

Great scene between Will and Zack… My only concern is that they are still both so young and have so much living to do. Is it possible to find your soulmate at such a young age? In this fictional land of CAP we certainly know it is possible with plenty of rough roads thrown in to make it real. Interesting scene with Barry, now we will get to see it play out in full but alas, that will be four days from now... Thank you team Arbour!
-
And the wheels turn slowly, though in a very satisfying way... With the stage set for tentative reconciliations it looks like the family will be poised to move forward in more harmony. I wonder how Barry will react when faced with the lineup of Zack, Will, Brad, and maybe even Matt? Can we throw Stef into the mix too? Dude, pack your own 'chute! If you have to use it over Afghanistan, you want to make sure you get down safely… In the words of Daddydavek – more please! Thank you Mark for another chapter – Is it too much to ask that you do nothing but write for us? :-)

I really liked this chapter on many levels. The resumption of the threesome - if indeed that happened. I will have to go back and carefully re-read that passage... It was good to see Matt come to the realization that he did not belong in Boston. Perhaps this will give him the freedom that he needs in order to succeed in Chicago, and to mature into the man that so many expect him to be. Loved the fashion interplay between JJ and the real estate agent… The scene at Wally and Clara's house was also a good one… I loved the interplay of the characters and Will's realization of how he actually does fit into the dynamics of that family's relationships. It was an interesting card that Zack played tossing out the fact that he would sit out his senior year and then go to the college of his choice, and walk on to the football team. He has very nearly disarmed Wally regarding that level of control over his future. Now he just has to finesse the situation so that he can gain the rest of his freedom, while maintaining the important relationship with Clara and minimizing the damage between him and Wally. To close, I loved the conversation between Will and JP. As that conversation played out I am sure that JP had to feel validated in his observation that Will is the brightest of his grandchildren. Clearly he has the ability to think on his feet and adapt his plan to achieve his goals, even if the path takes unexpected twists and turns; like JP's offer of internship for Zach in Europe, to preserve Will's gift to Zach... Thank you Mark and team!

While this cannot be characterized as a "feel good" chapter, I certainly am feeling better about the direction that portions of this story are beginning to move, and that Cody and JP have taken steps to work quickly for Will to ensure he has some help and reinforce that he is not alone. Though Zack gave in to his knee-jerk reaction, it seems that he realized that he did make a mistake, even though he and Will have to continue being extremely careful about how they move forward. It will be very interesting to see how the meeting with Zack's "advisor" goes when he is face to face with Will & Zach. How enlightened will he be and can he find a compassionate middle ground for them to walk.? As always, thank you Mark and team for giving us this ongoing story!

A bit of a surprise those ships turn out to be...turned into a nice training run for Lord Granger and his crew…some handling unknowns resolved which will likely translate into exciting battle tactics in the future, which, will only enhance Granger's renown... Don't let us down Mr. Arbour, else it'll be the cat for your back!

There certainly were some pretty significant scenes in this chapter but the one that we ended with really hit me the hardest! Talk about almost a double barrel shotgun blast…poor Will. First dealing with the surprise of Brad and Wade and what that has done to his view of the two of them, and now, the Zach situation catches him at a very bad time. I really hope he makes time to see his psychologist. Given that the vacation now is most likely off, it seems that he will have that time. We all knew this was going to happen but I suspect that we didn't expect it to happen so soon. We also knew where Zach was coming from but the question is, how hard will it be for Zach to deal with this? I wonder how much of this situation coming up could have been sparked by Wally and Clara? Only time will tell I suppose... thank you Mark and team!
-
Great chapter as usual… I am concerned about the potential for Brad or Matt to either accidentally overdose or become hooked on the pain meds… They have enough to deal with already. The sessions with the psychologists will be interesting so I can hardly wait for those. As for interesting scenes/sessions, how Will will deal with Wally and Clara is going to really be interesting. Of course maybe we'll get to see a little bit of Wally and Clara's struggle to deal with Will as he tries to be nice and a not create scenarios the scenarios between them and Zach. Thank you Mark and team!
