    Meth destroys families, relationships and people. Addicts can't see it. They are caught up in a horrible death spiral and often take down those around them. I am involved in an anonymous program that focuses on drugs and I know how hard it is for these addicts to kick and how much damage they do on the way down. It's not at all uncommon for a meth user in their 20s to look like they are in their 40s. It really wrecks their health. Thanks for addressing this issue. The family in this story did the only thing they could. Meth addicts get paranoid, delusional and dangerous. It is as serious as it gets.

    Little Jimmy is one weird little kid. He wrote National Geographic and complained that none of the nude natives in their magazine were from Scotland or Norway.

    1st day of 7th grade I was in a fight before the home room bell rang. Kids don't understand. They're afraid and often times can't trust the very people they should. Nothing makes a bigger mess of their ability to trust like abuse. They are going to try to protect what they have.

    Kentucky is the favorite. They are a strong team in a relatively weak field. It wouldn't surprise me if this year one of the small college basketball powers made a lot of noise like Xavier or Butler. They always end up with very competitive teams for their size.

    The only way to never fail is to not do anything at all. Everybody remembers Joe Montana for all the flawless Superbowl wins, 40K+ yards passsing and 273 TD passes. They don't remember 1,982 incompletions and 139 interceptions. Even the best there ever was had some days he wished that he had stayed in bed. Get up. Shake it off. Get back on the pig.

    This is a problem with political dimensions and we can't really take it on here. I guarantee you that those of us living in red states and living with the backlash see things very different from the people in blue states where things are hunky-dorie.

    He's wrong. #1 If you don't think there are all sorts of barriers for gay people, you aren't gay and you haven't run into them. A few states have anti-discrimination laws. The majority of the country does not. #2 Your being gay is all that matters to some people. It is all that they need to know to make them hate your guts enough to want to hurt you. You can expect to be attacked on some level- bullying at school as a kid. As an adult, they will undermine you to neighbors, try to get you fired from your job and tell bald faced lies about you. If you think they aren't out there, you are dead wrong.
