    Chapter 1

    It's a wonderful story Thanks
  2. Retelling the Rumpelstilskin fable was brilliant, with all the gory bits a kid (and others) love. The female protagonist comes off as helpless as in the original. Leaving the ending open as you did also was masterful, leaving the princes' future unresolved. No happy ending here.

    Chapter 4

Got to agree with the sentiments in the comments. Greed leads to malevolence on one side which disempowers and leads to apathy on the other side. On a brighter note, hopefully, recognition and empowerment of indigenous peoples is coming. All we need is more black opal

    Chapter 3

Thanks again. Aunty will understand I'm sure. The theatrics of the earth magic really added to the spectacle. I was there with them as they gathered. A very well written, involving chapter.

    Chapter 2

Thanks for another intriguing chapter. Woorawa is definitely coming to more power. The Aunties in community are vital to the functioning of any family and serve as mum to all their children. As are Uncles. For me you've made a pretty fair representation of our First Nations peoples. Thanks

    Chapter 1

I was wondering what happened to our snake-oil salesman PM Morrison, my local MP. He always has been close to the mining lobby since he brought a chunk of coal to Parliament. The representation of the way the Elders work rang through to me with my own experience with our indigenous Australians. The way a majority can be swayed by clever talk and "crumbs" is representative of the way a majority of australian's voted to not recognize we even have an indigenous population. Your story brings hope. Thanks for that.

    Epilogue

Thanks for writing your story. I understand what you mean about "struggle". Now it's finished I've promised myself to devote the time it deserves to appreciate it. I have dabbled with it during your creation phase and know from what I've read that it that I will find it thought provoking and confronting. Thank you.
  8. Hi gabz2000. Happy New Year. I hope life is treating you well at the moment and you're enjoying where you're at. Congratulations on what you've achieved so far and hope the best is yet to come.

    Guidance

Thank you for this beautiful vision of the afterlife. Not too schmaltzy and very gentle in it's exploration of the surviving partners experience. Hopefully that's the way it is and we'll all be reunited after death. Easy to empathize with the characters as they are pretty down to earth.

    Chapter 12

Answers to questions. New futures mapped out. Marriage and a genetically matched child. The beginnings of a new clan. Old powers manifesting in young vampires. Loss of family/families and new relationships gained. No, I don't think you set yourself a high bar for the next book.🤣 Third person, first person, second person once removed. Whichever you choose you'll have my undying gratitude, in a non-vamp way. Thanks for all your stories, they are graciously given and gratefully received. 🌟⭐⭐⭐⭐
  11. Good story which I found a little hard hitting at times. Thank god for the additional chapter. I was totally bummed by the "other ending". I checked the link to see what Adam looked like and he was cute but the image didn't match my imagined boy. My imagination showed a bit of a farm-boy for some reason not backed up by your story. The situations of the characters were plausible in the main. Thanks for creating this story for us.
  12. Well you did say action packed. No false advertising there. Now to find out how they get the police information.
  13. Having only known Carlos through his stories and responses, I feel I had the right of him from your piece. Thank you for saying the words I felt on discovering his passing. The sense of bereavement but also, unexpectedly, a feeling of closeness to him over the period he's been gone. Happy travels to you also as I believe Carlos is wishing us all.

    Chapter 11

Feeling for Greg at the moment. He's lost his own dad, is re-making his home into his own, getting rid of a lot of excess baggage, created two "sons"......... and now has to do to Brian's dad what needs doing. Even if it is Brian's decision, Greg is still the ranking "brother" so it will be hard to lessen the impact on Brian. Personally I like the idea of Brian's dad: (a) discovering pants can be used in the home; and (b) realizing an unfilled desire to get sober and look after otherwise unloved cats. Realizing the love of his wife as an equal and his son would be a bonus. But hey, it's a new year so anything is possible.

    Chapter 10

Whatever. I'm rooting for both but then I was wrong on the last call too🙄 Thanks for plugging the benefits of valerian. Smells horrible but very relaxing after a harrowing vampire story.😁

    Chapter 10

OH MY GOD Whew. What a chapter. Very gripping writing. I hadn't realized they were both at risk from the accident. I felt very invested in every aspect of your narrative. Great kudos and accolades to you. Thank you very much👏👏👏

    Bright Blue

Thank you for this lovely story of two young guys exploring their relationship. The blue bathers was a nice touch and reminded me of my childhood/youth being interested in what was in other little boys bathers. You recreated the innocence, fear, anticipation and joy of their relationship. Oh, thanks for the happy ending.

    Chapter 5

It's wonderful that everyone is getting so loved up for Christmas. We know that time is only relative in Engris so they can take as long as they like and still pop downstairs before the others arrive. I wonder if there's a picture in the attic there of Dorian Gray. Maybe they'll find a whole gallery. Speaking of which Lugh would be happy to accommodate all their presents

    Chapter 1

I lost my comment But Thanks for this lovely story. The characters and situations are easy to identify with. Thanks for the Merry Christmas

    Chapter 4

Thank you again. I haven't ever met another Geron but a friend is Gerran so I guessed it's pronounced that way. I loved the beauty of their home already but being able to discover even more. Wow. And with Lugh able to supply all their needs. Again...Just wow. Thanks for this wonderful gift.

    Chapter 9

So Chris is the next member of the Vamp royalty eh. Didn't see that coming. My money was on Jake or Brian. I like their approach to healing Chris before addressing his family situation. Now I have to work on removing my impatience. Thank you for another thought provoking story. BTW the marshals are going to be good for the group. Jake has hopefully connected and the others won't be far behind.

    Chapter 1

Merry Christmas and thank you for this present. I didn't realize you'd started this story so now I have a few chapters to catch up on. Their home sounds delightful, suiting the characters. It's nice to relax and enjoy a little whimsy every now and then, especially with such wholesome characters.

    Chapter 8

A very hard chapter to write, I would guess as it was to read it. Brian and Jenny are being brought centre stage and show the difference in theirs' and Greg, Scott and Billy's love. If only Greg is able to help Brian overcome his role as victim in his father's psychodrama. Thank you for this Christmas/Holiday season bonanza.

    Chapter 4

Wow again. Very uplifting, in their own fleet now. The team seems to be coalescing and plans are being discussed and made. Baby Chuck (Charles David) sorry it was too obvious, seems to be preternaturally aware. So in only a short time he'll be making his presence and opinions felt as well. It's good the humanity aspect is being addressed as well as they include Greg's human soulmates as well. Thanks again

    Chapter 242

Thanks for this lovely story. I've used it as therapy during some stress and sadness and you didn't fail me on any occasion. Better than drugs. I appreciated your attention to the detail of all characters, major or supporting.
