Ah the late Bernard Cribbins as Wilfred Mott in the last episode of David Tennant's incarnation of Dr Who - that particular scene always grabs me too! BC was such a wonderful actor (amongst many other things) and will be sadly missed - though I believe he does get an appearance in next year's Dr Who 60th Anniversary Special!

Well @Mark ArbourI think you've done it this time - what an excellent (but shocking, all the same) chapter! Will may be able to get back to a point where he can feel able (safe) to be in the same room as Zach but it's going to be a while before that happens but I don't think the bedroom will ever be involved again. I hope Zach comes to realise just how badly he has fucked up by hurting Will - not only losing a lover but a friend too, and he may well lose Travis as well when he finds out what Zach did. @Mark Arbourhope the search for your additional beta readers is going well - I would apply, but I just don't have enough spare time!

And of course if anyone does guess anything close to the answer then we know that @kboiswill NEVER admit it!

WHAT! How can you not like Leroy Jethro Gibbs OR Gil Grissom? I think NCIS & CSI Vegas (old & reboot) are both excellent examples of American military/crime/forensic drama. We get very little of that sort of drama produced here in the UK - and I'm not mentioning the British version of Law & Order (Law & Order:UK in case you didn't know - it is a VERY poor relation). I've never watched House (I've seen the odd clip on YouTube) so can't pass comment on that one. Anyhow, leaving aside your extremely misplaced dislike of the above shows, I'm loving this Epic-logue. Jay & Loe are just excellent fathers to Maci & Maeve. As to what you have in store with what the so-called parental units have done then I'm not looking forward to next Monday!

I hope you've read the previous story in this trilogy otherwise this story will make very little sense!! @kboisswings from being our super-cool Supreme Alpha but then sometimes leaves us hanging from cliffs between chapters - when we happen to mention that we get sent to the Korner!!

@Mrsgnomie I didn't actually mind being left on this cliff as it was a good ending (ch 28) to the begining of this. They found Cameron ✅ Cameron was okay (as far as they could see) ✅ Cameron was able to communicate ✅✅ They got Cameron back to the McDen to meet his parents ✅✅✅❤️ Cameron thinks the hybridisation process he was put through is irreversible 💔💔💔 The others believe Elijah about a remnant of Kage somehow residing in E's chest ❤️❤️❤️ Here's hoping that now they've found Cameron that E&T (and the other teams) will all believe it is possible to find more. @kboisI'm glad you had a great holiday and that you survived Hurricane Ian 🌀🌀🌀 @kboisdon't worry if your posting schedule has to be rejigged to fit in around getting everything sorted at home & work.

@MrsgnomieI can't believe you started posting this Epic-logue while @kboiswas on (a very well deserved) holiday (supposedly without reliable internet access)! But I see that @kboishas been lurking and has actually posted at least one comment so that's let you off @Mrsgnomie! Anyhow - I didn't realise how much I'd missed reading about the world of Jay & Loe. How dare Loe & Lars "parents" claim defamation - they are so going to be laughed out of court!! The devastating sadness of the loss of the first try and then the joyous news of the twins! I can't wait for the next chapter!!

@MawgrimI live in the UK now and I can see the beginnings of this happening right now. I really hope it doesn't come true but I fear it may well. This nation that our beloved late Queen Elizabeth The Second has just departed is changing before our very eyes and there doesn't appear to be a whole lot we can do about it. I am so frightened for the future that my great-nephew and great-nieces will be growing up with. God Save The King
