  1. I voted. I'm not normally one for poetry but I was pleasantly surprised.
  2. Yeah, but we can't all be Dumbledore. Therefore we'd have to play a little dirty.
  3. I have 4. 2 dragons and a tribal design on the bottom of my back and a girly-twirly-butterfly thing at the base of my neck/top of my shoulders. i'm sure I have pictures somewhere...
  4. It would probably be very tempting but not for me. Though if I was being attacked by a Dark Wizard I'd fight fire with fire. There would be no point in disadvantaging yourself.
  5. If it's a quick message I'll probably send a text but if the person I'm texting is likely to to turn it into a long conversation then I'll call.
  6. The glasses really suit you Prince and Lacey...erm, yeah.
  7. I have a pretty short fuse and tend to act without thinking. It's normally in the heat of the moment that I do something I'll later regret. The stupidest thing I ever remember doing was arguing with my dad over me living with him. At the time I was off my head and he said he didn't want that type of behavior around my younger siblings and his new wife. I trashed his car, with a cricket bat. And I kinda proved his point really, but luckily he doesn't hold it against me these days. That's probably the worst thing I've done. The silliest was getting in to an argument with my sister over money she owed me and smashing her favourite mug. I think she only owed me £5. I think revenge is more about the person you are when you lose your temper, if you can keep a level head then you won't see a need for revenge, you'll try to work it out by talking things through, but then I guess that also depends on how the other person has wronged you.
  8. My all time favourite is "The Way You Make Feel". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N1LWGj5B9Mo
  9. I never used to think I was 'addicted' to my computer but I have noticed that since I got a laptop for my NVQ course work I seem to spend all my free time on the internet on forums and such.
  10. I love cheese as long as it doesn't come with a funky odur. I tend to have it with most meals. It's my fave snack!
  11. I used to use IE but I had some problems when it came to loading pages on some blog sites. Firefox had been a god send for me. It downloads faster and I've never had a problem loading a page since I got it.
  12. I don't have a policy. I've only slept with two people so I don't really don't have anything to base a policy on. I lost my virginity to a close, male, friend when I was 14 and the next person I slept with was my girlfriend when we were 16 and that just sorta happened after a couple months of use being together.
  13. This is my number one fear! I have recurring nightmares about it. Others are: How I die - Dying doesn't scare me, its the way that I will die that does (eg. drowning, falling from a great height, suffocation, etc). Clowns - I saw Stephen King's It when I was about 4/5 years old and they've scared the hell out me since. I once elbowed a clown in the family jewels because he snuck up on me at Chessington World of Adventures. Heights - I can't even stand on the couch without getting dizzy. Moths - I love butterflies but moths give me the heebie jeebies. Spiders - I scream like a girl when I see one. Even money spiders. Something hiding under my bed or in my wardrobe. I still check them before bed Losing a sense - I sometimes wake up at night and worry that I've gone blind. The Dark - Not so much the dark itself, more what's in the dark that I can't see. I am such a wuss! The scary thing is I can probably think of a few more
  14. For me its an unsigned, for now, band called 10 Reasons to Live. I love their sound, even after they recently changed lead singers. I've been to a handful of their gigs and they just get better each time. Here a couple of their songs: and their MySpace page: http://www.myspace.com/10reasonstolive I've met most of them in person at gigs and they're all really nice, down to earth guys.
  15. I went to see it yesterday afternoon and although I enjoyed it I can't say I loved it. It was my favourite of all the books but I just felt there was something missing in the film. I thought the special effects were great and the performances of the more well known actors were brilliant and as much as it pains me to say, Emma Watson was the better 'teen' performance overall with Bonnie Wright being some what lacking throughout. One thing that seriously wound me up was the fact that the kiss between Harry/Cho in the 5th film lasted longer than the measly peck between Harry and Ginny this time around. They took a great scene in the book and turned it to crap. Also, Harry never saw the Room of Requirement so how on earth is he supposed to know where to find the diadum in Deathly Hallows?! Aragog's 'funeral' seemed a bit abrupt, one of my friends who doesn't read the books found it all confusing and didn't understand what was going on. Dumblesdore's death was rather moving at the end, I admit I cried. Michael Gambon did a great job with the lead up to it, especially when he was drinking the potion in the cave but I have to agree that it all seemed a bit rushed. Also, they could have done a better job with explaining the Horcrux's and their significance. Again, friends who only watch the films are more than a little confused. But it was just a movie, you can't expect them to get everything in which I suppose is always the problem when you have limited time. It's a shame though because now I'm not really looking forward to watching Deathly Hallows when it's released.
  16. While reading that article I found myself feeling really sorry for Pepper and wanting to dislike the home wrecker, Linda. Then I remembered I was reading about penguins and really think I need to get out more.
  17. Completely agree. Very weird. Can't wait to see him in Harry Potter tomorrow though.
  18. So do I, I look about a stone or two lighter.
  19. Ok *deep breath* here goes. I apologize now for any pc's crashing. Me and the BFF at London Zoo And me getting bored at a family dinner and taking random pictures on my phone.
  20. Thank you for the welcomes. I suppose it's time to 'bloom', eh?
  21. Hi everyone! This all completely new to me. My girlfriend calls me a wall flower so no one is more surprised than me that I clicked that register button yesterday. I'm drawing a complete blank here so I'm just gonna click 'post'. *waves*
