The family goes on a camping and canoeing adventure that gets a little scary and when they return home, some of the boys are arrested. Will they be able to prove their innocence?

Ricky is an exchange student in Australia for a year. The family the Curries met in England comes to visit them in the US. That fall, Josh learns one of the boys has been diagnosed with Leukemia and together they battle this disease. Will Josh’s help be enough?

As Josh recovers, some of the older boys pitch in to help out, so they won’t be split up. After 9/11, Josh comes to the rescue of a boy whose parents died that day. He also has to deal with a biological mother who is trying to regain custody by claiming Josh is unfit. Which way will the court rule?
