It is not long, however, before his skills and training lead him into danger. Along the way, he meets a half-Elven boy who becomes his acolyte and companion.

This story begins on Earth (or an Earth analogue), a few months after “The Book of Heroes: George of Sedona,” . It is not essential, but perhaps useful, to have read at least the first chapter of that story before reading this one.

In which a teen from California meets a knight and travels with him to a world where love is, indeed, magic. This story was the first to have been translated.
