Simon Lorall, through a series of terrible events, discovers he is the Seeded One. Now he must embark on a journey of self-discovery encountering demons, fae, werewolves, goblins, and other creatures. As a new Wizard War threatens the world, will he find the strength to save everyone, or will he plunge the world into war and chaos?

This story is a prequel and sequel to my previous story, ‘The Boy on the Porch.’ While that was mostly Brendan’s point of view, this will be from the members of the Taft family's perspectives. It will cover things that happened before Nick was kicked out of his house, hit the necessary high points of what was covered in the first story, then continue on with their later lives, expanding on their pieces of the epilogue contained therein. I initially envisioned it to be Nick's story, but quickly determined it would be fairly short, so they all get some attention.

University student Brett Hamilton completes high school two years earlier than usual and enters university to study Aeronautical Engineering, which he changes to Aerospace Engineering in his second year. Back home for Christmas Holidays, the family goes for a camping holiday, where things change dramatically for Brett.

Prompt #385 –

Brendan Nelson had a tough week at work. He is a Project Manager at a small software company. Nothing went well on his current project. The last delivery to QA (Quality Assurance) was a total failure, the techs couldn't even install it. Add to that, a serious problem in the development of a new feature arose. Finally, on top of that, the customer was screaming about a bug that hadn't been fixed for months, and now it apparently crashed the system. As if things weren't bad at work, he had to come home to a surprise.

Meeting for the first time in Boarding school, Oscar Q Kingston settles down to life away from his country home town, until an incident with one of his friends, while at home on a boarders weekend had him ending up in a hospital and afterwards changing schools and living with his grandparents on the outer north-east suburbs, where he finds new friends.

Months later he bumps into two of his former friends from his old school and after a bumpy start, they form a close friendship that lasts for many years to come, where they go their own separate ways after school ends, and reunite later for a common cause.

Grey, a young werewolf, has left his pack to find answers in a small Oregon city. When he steps into The Lunar Haven Bed & Breakfast, his life changes in unexpected ways. It is here where he meets Dave, the bartender, and Clara, the perceptive owner. All three are thrust into a world of supernatural mysteries and curses, and have their destinies intertwine in the most unexpected ways.

This is a story full of wolves and magic, love and family. About finding the people that matter the most.

Owain returns to live in his home town, 20 years after leaving when he was disowned his parents for being gay. He needs to rebuild his life following illness and come to terms with his messy family history. There is much to learn and discover, along the way he meets Colin, a builder who has his own family issues. The two explore how to make a life the way that they want, irrespective of the weight of their family experiences.

The story takes place in Cheshire, UK. The main setting, Netherwich, is my invention based on elements of Crewe and Nantwich. The language uses some regional idiom.

Back in 1941, a wonderful movie called Here Comes Mr. Jordon was released. It enjoyed tremendous success. This is a modern, gay, take on that fantasy film.
