High School Sports Series - Stories

Joel is the odd man out on his cross country team. He's the only sophomore on the team and he's never spent more than an hour or two of practice with the other guys. Now he's been tapped to run in the district qualification meet and that means an overnight trip with the team. He knows he can run just as well as anyone else, but what happens when the race is over?

Danny Bright has been waiting all year to compete, and the day is finally here. He'll have to earn the chance to participate, and once he does, he hardly even knows what he's getting himself into. Make no mistake, it's going to be a day he never, ever forgets. He'll need every bit of his skill, savvy, and a little bit of something special to win... The Contest.

Yuto Tanaka has been training harder than ever for the Ogawa High School swimming club's first meet of the year. While he is not as strong or fast as some of the older boys on the team, he has been making progress. Progress due in no small part to the mentorship of his senpai, Gen Uotate. With only a few days until the meet, Uotate-senpai pulls Yuto aside for one last bit of preparation, intended to strengthen both Yuto's standing on the team and their bond with each other.
