Pieces and Fragments - 9. bricks

A brick fell out of the wall the other day
and for the first time ever
I didn't put it back.

I have you to thank.

You see, until now, I've never wanted to know what was over there
on the other side of the wall.

I just never realized there were nice people in the world.

But now I'm wondering ...

maybe I don't need the wall?

Today
I put all bricks back
in their proper places

There is much to be said for safety

not so much mine

but that of others
