A very short tale of the Author drawing on his own life experience and some intimate thoughts about losing a parent.

This story packs a punch and will have alot of us thinking, what the future may hold.

Thanks for this wonderful piece of writing.

Response from the author:

Thank you, for your review, Chris. It was a difficult story to write.

Short and bitter-sweet. Drawing on their own experiences, the writer shares the intimate moments as a parent’s end approaches.   So much emotion is packed into a thousand words, beautifully written, of course.

“And at the end, peace at last.”

Response from the author:

Thank you, for your review and the kind words, Gary. I wasn't sure if it was the right thing to do/write, but your and the other's comments told me it was okay.

Aditus has woven us another tapestry of sentiment, fragility, and the spark of love in all its forms from the steadfast adoration of a family pet, to siblings, parents, and partners long gone.

Response from the author:

I'm, almost, without words but thank you for your review.

Yet another story that took the "In Too Deep" theme to heart. This one is all about heart, showcasing platonic and familial love along with a romantic love so deep that it's reminiscent of how lovebirds mourn their partners into the afterlife, chasing right on after them. A short and heartfelt read that was written wonderfully.

Response from the author:

Thank you so much.

This is a touching and beautifully written story about two sons caring for their aged father at the end of his life.  It brought back many memories for me, since I'd seen my mother, grandparents, and many other relatives pass from this life to the next.  At my age, it also reminded me that my time is short, although none of us know how short that may be.  If you're looking for a touching and endearing story, then check this one out.  You won't be disappointed.

Response from the author:

Thank you so much Bill, for your kind and heartfelt words.

~A.
