Don’t wake up.
Don’t wake up.
Don’t wake up.
Harry snuck past his mother’s bedroom door on his way to meet Alex out front. Every step felt like a thundering herd of elephants, coupled with a symphony of creaking floorboards, as he made the perilous journey down the hall.
Eventually, he unlocked the world’s loudest deadbolt and stepped onto the front porch. There he found Alex, clad in dark jeans and a black sweatshirt.
“What are you doing here?!” Harry kept his voice low, petrified they’d be caught. “It’s almost midnight!”
“I, uh, snuck out.”
Alex jammed his hands in his pockets, suddenly uncertain.
“I thought you’d be happy to see me.”
Harry softened. For the first time, he took a proper look at Alex’s face. He looked tired, the kind that a good night’s sleep won’t fix. He also had dried leaves in his hair and a five o’clock shadow dusting his jawline.
Despite the imperfections, he was still the most beautiful boy Harry had ever seen.
“Why didn’t you call first?”
“Mum took my phone.”
“How’d you find my address, then?”
“I asked Christopher.”
The answer drew a questioning look from Harry.
“I found his business card at home, then used a mate’s phone to call him.”
“Why didn’t you call me, then?”
“Because I couldn’t remember your number.”
Alex’s cheeks turned pink in the pale moonlight.
“I mean, who knows anybody’s phone number anymore? This isn’t 1992.”
Harry heard a noise across the street and got spooked. He looked left and right, then left again, before arriving at a decision.
“We need to get out of here.”
“Some place quiet.”
Harry looked around again, then pulled the front door closed behind him.

The boys leaned against the wall of Harry’s old cubby house as Alex filled Harry in on the events of the past week.
“She deleted your Instagram, as well?”
“And your Tik Tok?”
“Fucking hell.” Harry shook his head, unable to believe Jennifer's pettiness. “What did your dad have to say about it?”
“Not much, really. He’s only just got back from overseas.”
“You didn’t call him while he was away?”
“No. There was no point.”
Harry reached out and placed a hand on Alex’s knee, attempting to comfort him. Their silence lingered until Harry broke it.
“What did Christopher say when you called him, then?”
“That I should have called sooner.” Alex shook his head as a light chuckle escaped him. “Turns out my mum already went Full Karen on him. Rang him and accused him of all sorts of fucked up shit. Told him she’d ruin him if he ever contacted me again.”
“Yeah.” The laughter was long gone now. “I’m pretty sure she thinks he turned me gay.”
“I dunno. Chem-trails?”
This time it was Harry’s turn to laugh. He buried his face in his hoodie, desperate not to blow their cover.
“How can you be making jokes about this?”
“I dunno. Either laugh or cry, I guess.”
Harry shook his head, knowing which of the options he’d choose.
“So what happens now with your modeling?”
“How do you mean?”
“Well, when can you start shooting again?”
“Who knows.” Alex shrugged, but this time Harry saw through the nonchalance. “I guess we just wait.”
“For what? For your mum to get over herself?”
“Probably.” Alex shrugged again. “I give it another week before she starts missing the clout of having a ‘super model’ son.”
“Surely she’s not that superficial?”
“Have you met her?” Alex snickered, catching himself far too late. “Wait. I guess you have, hey.”
“I hardly think that counts.”
They sat in silence for a moment, reliving that fateful night. An involuntary shiver ran down Harry’s spine.
“Wait, are you cold?”
Alex looked down at Harry’s bare feet.
“Dude, you’re not even wearing shoes.” Alex stood up, clearly expecting Harry to follow his lead. “Come on, let’s get you inside.”
Harry remained seated, crippled by sudden self-doubt.
Was he ready to invite Alex into his house? Into the two-bedroom postage stamp that was barely bigger than Alex’s kitchen?
Alex held out his hand, waiting for Harry to accept.
“We can’t go inside.”
“What if my mum catches us?”
“She’s a light sleeper.”
“Then we’ll just have to be quiet.”
Alex’s wink made Harry turn fifty shades of crimson.
“Seriously though, we’ll cross that bridge if we come to it.”
Harry shook his head, but eventually took the offered hand. He allowed Alex to pull him to his feet, then led him back around the side of the house and into an uncertain future.
* * * * *
“I know, I know. It’s tiny.”
“No, I like it.”
Alex’s eyes did a quick sweep of Harry’s bedroom, landing upon an alphabetically-arranged bookcase in the corner.
“It’s very… you.”
“Thanks.” Harry felt a brief pang of embarrassment. “I’ll take that as a compliment.”
Alex sat down on Harry’s bed and picked up his copy of Stalin and His Repressive Regime 1922-1953.
“Bit of light reading?”
“It’s for school.”
Alex flipped through the hand-written notes alongside, as if to confirm that Harry wasn’t studying Soviet steel production for fun.
“So, um, what were your plans for the rest of the night?”
“How do you mean?”
“Where were you planning to stay?”
Alex looked up and saw Harry with his hands stuffed inside his pockets. Even after everything they’d been through, he still looked uncertain.
“I hadn’t thought that far ahead.” Alex stood up and walked towards Harry. His next words were barely above a whisper. “Where would you like me to stay?”
“You can, um, stay here if you want.”
Alex’s acceptance was accompanied by a smile. He then leaned in and placed a gentle kiss on Harry’s lips, but Harry quickly broke away.
“I should probably get some extra blankets or something.”
Harry started moving towards the door, but Alex grabbed his wrist and held him.
Harry felt Alex’s hot breath fan across his cheek, before their lips connected once again.
They continued exchanging kisses as Alex’s hand slipped beneath Harry’s hoodie and began rubbing circles in the small of his back. Alex then broke their kiss and started pulling Harry’s hoodie over his head.
They began slowly undressing each other, pausing to enjoy gentle kisses in between, until they were left wearing only their boxer-briefs. Harry then turned back his duvet and invited Alex to join him, while still maintaining a small piece of his modesty.
“I’ve been dreaming about this all week.”
Once beneath the covers, they each lay on their side and used their hands to explore where lips couldn’t reach. Their arousal continued to build until Alex abruptly broke away.
“Did you lock the door when we came in?”
“I mean the bedroom door.”
Alex leaned in for another kiss, threading his fingers through Harry’s hair.
Harry broke their kiss and held Alex at arm’s length.
“I, um… since last week… I haven’t…”
Alex leaned in for another peck, but Harry pushed him away again.
“I mean, I haven’t been able to…”
“It’s okay. I understand.”
Alex leaned in and smothered Harry’s lips once more, hoping to replace the bad memories with good ones. He rolled the younger boy beneath him and pressed the full length of his body against Harry’s, making sure he could feel his hardness pressing against his thigh. Their hands continued to explore as their cocks rubbed perilously close together, before Harry broke their kiss and pressed their foreheads together.
“I’m almost there.”
Alex pulled Harry closer to him, giving them both the friction they so desperately sought.
He then rolled Harry on top of him and used his firm grip on Harry’s ass to set the perfect rhythm. With a breathless cry, Harry buried his face in Alex’s neck and drove them both over the edge.
Harry remained atop Alex for an eternity, basking in the afterglow. Once he’d recovered, Alex placed a gentle kiss atop Harry’s head, then rolled him onto his side and pulled the covers up around them.
“I needed that so bad.”
Harry managed a brief smile as he sank further into the pillows, too tired to even clean up. Alex thought briefly about sneaking to the bathroom, but decided it wasn’t worth the risk.
He instead drew Harry into his arms and placed another kiss atop his forehead, before burrowing under the covers and enveloping Harry in his warmth as they both drifted off to sleep.
* * * * *
“Hey, you’re awake.”
Harry awoke to the sensation of Alex’s lips on his neck. He opened one eye to look at his alarm clock.
“Dude, it’s 5am….”
Alex was wide awake, beholden to his swim training habits.
“It’s too early…”
Alex kissed Harry’s neck again, then blew a raspberry against his collarbone.
Harry giggled, now fully awake. His warning did nothing to stop Alex’s descent though, as he ducked beneath the covers and kissed his way to Harry’s right nipple. There, he drew the sensitive bud into his mouth and flicked it with his tongue.
“Alex, we can’t…” Harry kept giggling, inspiring Alex to give his left nipple the same treatment.
He then kissed his way down Harry’s abdomen, until he reached the waistband of his boxer-briefs.
The remaining words died in Harry’s throat as Alex slid the soft cotton down his thighs and engulfed his entire hardness in one breath.
Oh my god.
Harry closed his eyes, scarcely believing how good it felt. His fingers tangled in Alex’s hair as the older boy quickly brought him to the brink.
Harry buried his cries within his pillow as Alex swallowed everything he had to give. He then crawled back up the bed, poking his head out from beneath the covers as Harry fought to catch his breath.
“That was… amazing.”
“So were you.”
Alex leaned in for another kiss. Harry drew Alex’s tongue into his mouth and tasted the reward of his own essence.
“Now it’s my turn.”
Harry commenced his own rapid descent, repeating every step Alex had taken with him as he made quick work of Alex’s erection. The older boy wasn’t quite as restrained, moaning Harry’s name aloud as he blasted multiple squirts into the back of Harry’s throat.
Alex sagged against the pillows as Harry emerged from beneath the duvet.
Alex pulled Harry in and shared a cum-filled kiss, before they both lay back and basked in their second afterglow. Eventually, Harry rested his head on Alex’s chest, enjoying the steady rise and fall as the sun slowly crept through the blinds.
“I wish you didn’t have to go home.”
Alex twirled a lock of Harry’s hair as they continued to embrace.
“Do you think your parents will notice you’re gone?”
“Not if I get home early enough.”
Harry frowned at the thought of Alex leaving.
“Maybe you could just stay here.”
Alex shook his head as Harry sighed and relaxed into him further.
Eventually, Harry let out a soft snore. Alex looked down and marveled at his innocent beauty, unburdened by the problems of the conscious world.
In that moment, he knew he was falling in love.
But were those feelings worth risking his modeling career for? Worth risking his social media following? Or, god forbid, worth risking his family’s support?
Much like sleep, none of the answers were coming easily.
All he could do was hope that the new day didn’t bring with it any new problems.
